The *NEW* Good Morning Thread!
Well, I was lucky when I had my shingles vaccination, no side effects. I'm gonna cheat on dinner and head over to one of the mexican food places and get a panchita. Hmm, I thought FMC built firetrucks. My sister needed to carry an epi pen, allergic to bee stings. I've only been stung twice in my life, no ill effects other than I practiced my french. used to brown bag in junior high, and tuna fish sandwich made it in the bag many a time, with mayo. Sat in my locker until lunch, never had a problem.
Otto72, that's funny. Mike, not sure after that comment from your "friend" that he would remain one in my book.
I once asked a potential girl friend "Thuoose me i'm afraid I mithed thshound a bit thunney but I have an thexthreamleamthly large thonge, would you lick to gettoghther shometime for a coffthee.

Hey guys,
I'm back among the living. I was able to get another 3-hours sleep out on the couch this morning between 6 and 9. Felt much better when I woke up, and was even able to do my lifting workout this afternoon with no issues, other than the slight soreness in the arm where I got the injection. Sure glad to be feeling better, that was miserable.
Overcast, but warm here today. The 4-4-2 had not been started in over a month, so I took the opportunity to get it out and drive it around the neighborhood several times to get it up to operating temp and drive any moisture out, and to swell up the seals. No issues.
I do have a car question for you guys though. My car idles fine around 800 RPM's, it's pretty choppy because of the cam, but doesn’t act like it wants to die. When I'm just cruising down the street around 1K RPM's or higher, my Voltmeter reads slightly over 14, but at idle goes down to about 12.7. Is that normal, or do I need to check the Alternator output?
Hope everyone had a wonderful day!

We finished up around 1030 and hit the road a little before 11. What that guy was trying to say was I had too many cars, and if he brought it up then my Mom would agree with him. I said don't talk **** about my Mom. He said he was making fun of me. I said you mentioned her name it's the same. I didn't talk to him for the rest of the day. He doesn't care. He's one of those who thinks he entitled to whatever thinks he's God's gift to humanity. He can go phuque himself.
So imagine my surprise when I'm sitting at Awful house and Mom calls. She says my man is here. Whoa nelly I'll be right there. He said he tried all week to get here but his office kept sending him the other direction. So today he just set out to come here without telling anyone. Finished up in about a half hour. Now when things dry out a little I'm gonna take the garden rake and smooth everything out and reseed. It will be a good project.
The little plastic thing that holds the shift of the car onto the transmission broke, again. At least it was in the driveway. I had to fix this a couple years ago. The coolant recovery tank is right above it and has a leak, and I think the coolant degraded it. What a pain. I can rig it up to get it home and then order a kit it goes in in about 5 minutes.
Not sure if we're getting rain this weekend. I've been trying to find spark plug wires for the pickup, I want to put those in and spark plugs. Not doing it in the rain. Although I'm not doing it at all if I can't find the wires. No one has them.

Dan - Thanks. Gotchya. I always thought it meant a cute girl.
Panchita food is a type of Mexican food that is typically made with corn tortillas and beans. It is often served with rice and salsa, and can be made with either chicken or beef. Panchita pays homage to a traditional Lima dish as well as our Creole cuisine.
Mornin' guys. How's it going with the wheels/lugs etc, Norm? Are you going to try that small paint touch up thingy?? I am really interested in how that works- I never used one. Speakin of painting wheels, has anyone powder coated wheels? I think I'll start a thread about that.
Greg - Good morning. Yes, I believe I'm going to try the Preval Sprayer - seems like a very good way to go. Glad Kenneth brought it up. It will be a little while. Weather has turned great & I'm better spending my time on outdoor (house) activities while the sun shines. I've never powder coated anything, I always thought it would be nice to know how to do it. I'll be interested in following your thread.
Good morning guys,
I have a plan for a fun and relaxing day. Grandson Gabe has a basketball game at 1100 this morning which I'm going to. Then I plan on watching College Football Conference Championship Games this afternoon and evening. The SEC Championship is on in the afternoon and the Big 10 Championship is this evening.
Go Blue!!!
Hope ya'll have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone.
It's raining here now. Not hard, just annoying. So much for working outside on the cars.
Finally found the spark plug wires for the pickup. I also asked for spark plugs for the Saturn. He says, do you want all 6? I said yes I want all 6. Who wouldn't replace all 6?
The ice cream cake looks yummy. How come you didn't have anything written on top of it?
Guess I'll find something inside to do. This is a good watch TV day. See ya's.

Jim - Shepherd's pie looks delicious.
Grandson Gabe's game was fun, he played well, scored 6-pts, and his team won by 12. As you will see in the 2nd pic, right now he is a good 4 to 8-inches taller than most boys his age. Lots of tall genes on both sides of the family. I really enjoy going to watch him play basketball and soccer. You never know how kids will continue to develop, but I think he's going to excel as an athlete in whatever sports he wants to participate in.

Lowe's sells cakes? You could have asked for something smart *** to put on it and see if they'd do it. When a guy I worked with in my old department got transferred back to Honolulu he brought in food, and a cake that had a picture of the backside of a girl with a buttfloss bikini sitting on the beach. It said Aloha Delta North, kiss my *** goodbye!
I'd be afraid they'd make their cakes with sawdust.

Mike - Wrong Lowes. Ours even has a tavern/bar you can sit down for a beer or wine. Great store, good selection of good products and excellent meat products. I thought they were in Georgia, but maybe not. I also noticed there is no apostrophe in their name like the home improvement store.
