I picked this one up early fall. Used it once and sold it for what I had in it... too large of a turning radius for my needs.

Soak it in Norm do not stress it, remember the old farmers telling stories about the snow being poor mans fertilizer. Once you get the tractor running put'r in 2hi and whip some donuts...

Just received this. I’m not affected. Hopeful I won’t be. Not how I’d like to end my day.

Chris, thanks for asking about Linda. It was a tough year for her healthwise, hope this one is better. She had the 1st surgery on right ear in November. It all went well and we didn't really notice any difference in hearing. Then had the left one done in December. Then we (I say we cuz believe me, I could tell) noticed she couldn't hear ****. Come to find out she had hearing loss in right ear from before, and after second surgery, now have hearing loss in left ear too. So she was really hard of hearing. Doctor is sort of puzzled why. She thinks maybe noise of "grinders, saws, etc"- (for lack of better words) damaged ear drum or ??? So we went ahead and got her hearing aids- they really are high tech and small. But she sorts hates them. I think it's a matter of getting used to them. Last weekend she was getting ready to go out and dropped her glasses in sink and they broke- Geez Louise!! No fix to them so now going to eye Dr. for new glasses. Four grand for hearing aids, prolley 6-700. for glasses... Coming at a really bad time as we are attempting to pay for our big trip.. Waaa Waaa... I should complain..... Oh, I have a Schumaker 2/10/50 charger just like yours- I like it too.

Greg - That's unfortunate regarding the ear surgeries. Fix one issue & create another? Ugh!

Greg - I'm sorry Linda has had such a rough go of it. It's never a good thing when your Doctor tells you they're puzzled why you're experiencing certain symptoms??? I hope she gets used to the hearing aids and she has a much better year. Wishing the best for both of you! 🤞

Good morning everyone.

Moving right along here at work this morning. Of course one mechanic isn't here and I'm signing all his wheels. I'll have a long list by the end of the day, I like seeing that.

Greg I'm sorry Linda is having such a time with her hearing. I can sort of empathize. I don't have terrific hearing and it's getting worse. Add to that tinnitus. I hope I get over my vanity by the time I actually need hearing aids.

The Google picture of the day is curling. Where's Allan? He tried to explain the game to us, the rocks and the sweeps and whatever else, and I don't think anyone got it. Well, as long as he enjoyed it.

Got an eye appointment this afternoon. Haven't been in several years. Not looking forward to it. The eye doctor is benign enough but I just don't like going to the doctor. Ya get ahold of one with a complex and suddenly you're lectured about everything.

Okay gotta get ready for break. Hope everyone has a good day.

Mike - I'm glad you're off to a good start at work! Dawn and I have our annual eye appointments next Wednesday. I agree with you, the eye doctor is benign enough, I just don't like going to doctors period. It will be 3-months next week since I went to the Orthopedic Surgeon for the evaluations on my hips and got Cortisone injections in each hip. Next Thursday I have an appointment for a follow-up visit and another injection in each hip. They significantly help with the pain for 3 or 4-weeks, but then wear off, but they'll only give them to you every 3-months. I'm leaving for Michigan the day after the appointment and I'm hoping the injections help with me sitting in my car for 8-hours on the drive up there!

Greg - Does your Ford truck have ABS braking? My instrument cluster ABS light is illuminating - w/ IGN switched to ON and with engine running. I haven't gone anywhere since the ice/snow storm except my driveway. I don't get any ABS DTC codes via the OBDII connector & scanner (and it does scan for ABS codes). As said, I've only gone up/down my drive plowing (w/o a plow) through 2' - 3' snow drifts (compacting snow which is slowly leaving). Even 4x4 can't dig you out of deep ice/snow sometimes.

So, my thinking is this. Maybe there's snow compacted in one or several of either the LH front, RH front or rear ABS connectors. There are a couple ABS connectors which leave the ABS reader on each front axle and snake along the inner (plastic) fender well(s). Anyways, I'll check those in due time but was curious if you (who likely plows thru more snow than me) has ran into this? Thoughts?

And, it was collecting data for a minimum of eight minutes. That's a lifetime for a spider.

Chris - Anything is a possibility at this point; yet, nothing to be overly concerned about at this point. The charging system (batteries) was 100% completely run down on two attempts trying to recharge the system. I do know the ABS won't automagically reset itself until the truck is driven 15 miles. So, what you said might be a possibility. I don't intend to venture past the end of my driveway until at least tomorrow because I'm NOT going to remove the two foot high mounds of ice now blocking the end of my driveway which NCDOT snow plows managed to pile up clearing the road.

Those look tasty. I'd like to head to the store for some new groceries/food but I'm not venturing out any longer until the ice shield at the end of my driveway melts because I'm not shoveling that $hit.
Today's meal was a salad & fried shrimp(s).

The reasoning/logic behind this is because the ABS operates as a integrated braking system which involves all four wheels. Each ABS sensor (on ea. wheel) is synchronized among all four wheels. To validate each ABS sensor is synchronized among all four wheels requires a minimum driven distance.

Yep my 06 F250 does have ABS- and the light has been glaring at me for about 2 years. But my truck is a rusty beater and I don't worry about it. My guess is your hypothesis is correct- give it some time to reset after the snow is gone.

Greg / Dan,
I was going to put this info in a PM, but I see it will only let me PM one person at a time so I'm just going to post it here.

They have finally released the schedule for our Grandson Gabe's hockey Tournament in Holland, Feb. 14 - 16.

- All his games (4) will be played at Griff's Icehouse West, just a few miles north of downtown Holland off of US-31. (Address in 1st Sceenshot).

- The name of his team is the Meramec Sharks. He will have 1 game on Sat. at 10:45am; 2 games on Sun., at 8:30am & 6:15pm; and one game on Mon. at either 8:50am or 9:45am, that is TBD dependent on how they do in their first 3 games. There are 2 Rinks at Griff's Icehouse, Red and Blue, and the Rink they are playing on is identified in the schedule (2nd attached screenshot).

Dan, I realize you have the Rona, and certainly don't want you to try and make it unless you're 100% positive you're no longer contagious (no offense). Greg, I know this is bad timing for you too with your big trip coming up, so I don't you to feel any pressure to make it either. Just wanted to make sure both of you had the info in case you can make it. If you have any questions just let me know.

Chris - I was unaware, thanks for mentioning. Like so many musicians/performers/artists drugs became a habit for Chuck until after a very long time finally able to free himself of his addictions. I've seenThree Dog Night perform on several occasions to this day I always enjoy listening to their music.
