I just posted this in the Parts Wanted area, but I'll ask here directly. Would you happen to have an instrument panel lamp housing for a '70 Cutlass, like shown in the first image below? it holds two bulbs above the A/C controls.

I'm also looking for the A/C vent valance that attaches under the instrument panel shown in the second image below. I'm hoping for one in the dark green interior color, but I can work around that.

Thanks for looking!

Hello Oskar
I know I have the light bulb housing you need. I believe I have the AC valance, but probably not in green. I'll be looking for other parts for members here this weekend, I'll put these on the list and get photos for you of what I come up with. John

Hello Oskar, I know you got several replies to your parts wanted ad. Please let me know if you still want a price quote from me on those items. If so, send me your zip code in a PM or email and I'll get shipping costs too.

Hi Mike, welcome to the site! I do have some extra 1965 parts but haven't begun restoration on my project car yet. I need to make sure I have parts set aside for it before selling much 1965 stuff. I'll try to evaluate that next weekend. Your welcome to create a parts wanted thread to see if someone else has them too. For large or heavy items its helpful to post your city/state, you never know if someone right down the road may have what you need! I know of two sites specifically for 1964-65 Cutlass/442. If you haven't found them yet you might want to check them out too. They're:

Sorry I'm late in responding John. Thanks for checking on those parts for me, PM is on its way.

Just wanted to say that my job has been busy this summer, and will probably be busy for another month or so. If I failed to reply to anyone I'm sorry. If you still need help with anything let me know... then gently NAG me to make sure I don't forget about you again!

Hey John.Have you had any luck with the 67 Instrument Panel we talked about.I imagine you have been busy.My Hobby is taking off and i dont have any decent 67s to restore. This one would come in handy.I still have components for the IP I restored for you.
Hope you are doing well.Where did this last year go?

Oskar, I looked at a couple dashes in the garage but they didn't have all the lights with them. I believe I have a parts car that does, and will try to get these pulled soon.

Ron, I pulled the dash from the yellow car today and will get the IP packaged up this weekend. I'll use lots of bubble wrap! Also, I found a local Olds guy through Craigslist restoring a 1967 Cutlass Convertible. He will be upgrading the IP in that car soon and told me the extra is available. It has four bars broken out of the radio grill, but otherwise looked good. Please send me a PM or email with your shipping address and let me know what price range you would be willing to go for his IP.

Sach, welcome to the site! Sorry, I don't have much in the way of full sized parts older than 1968. If you haven't created a parts wanted thread I'd encourage you to. Also it helps if you post your city/state. Another member may be just down the road from you, or know of a source you could check for the parts you need. John

Hey John, as long as you're out looking through your inventory, can you see if you have the piece of side molding that's located between the door and the rear wheelwell (see picture below). This is for a 1970 Cutlass S coupe, passenger side. Mine's beat up beyond repair. Thanks for taking the time to look for these things for me.

Eric, sorry I don't at this time. But it case you didn't know it the 4 door has the same deck lid as the convertible. Locating a 4 door that's being parted out is much easier than finding a convertible!

Oskar, I may have the side trim. Work is still crazy but I'll see what I can dig up this coming weekend.

Mandy9000, sorry I don't have the 1969 parts your looking for.

Tim, I've had those mirrors in the past but don't have one at this time. I'd encourage you to create a parts wanted thread and see if someone else has it. If you strike out there, watch ebay closely. John

Hi Oskar
I pulled some more lights from a parts dash. It does look like someone put masking tape over the light between the ash tray and glove box, so that needs to be cleaned up. The the side trim, I have what I believe is from a 4 door as its longer than what you need. But it is the right shape so if you can't find the correct one you might be able to cut this down and bend the end. It also has a blue bump strip, but it looks like you could pull that off and have the correct shape below it. Check out the photos and let me know what you think. John

Hey John. That side trim piece in your pictures is the part that goes behind the rear wheel - the length and shape is exactly the same as mine. Unfortunately that won't work for me as I need the piece that goes in front of the rear wheel and behind the door of a coupe. Like you said, it's a shorter piece and has a flange that wraps around the door opening and attaches to the door jamb. I'll pass on that, but I think someone else on this forum has a thread looking for that very part.

As for the lights, I definitely want the dash light housing and blue lens. I already have the map light; the light inside the glove box is what I was looking for. Maybe you've got one of those somewhere?

Thanks for taking the time to find these parts. Send me a PM with your price for the dash light housing and lens.

I am looking for an original cast iron 4 barrel intake for my 350 engine. Matching numbers and casting date codes are not important but it has to be a non EGR year manifold. If you have anything like this what would you want for it including shipping to 32127 in Florida? Thank for your time.

Welcome to the site Paul! Yes I've got some intakes that would fit your request, if you'd send me a PM (private message) or email with your shipping address I'll get a complete cost including shipping estimate. If you haven't created a parts wanted thread yet you might give that a try too. I know there's one member in Florida who sells a lot of parts, plus several more in the Mid-west and Eastern part of the US. If our prices are similar they could save you money in shipping costs. Thanks for the reply and the welcome. I haven't posted a parts wanted thread but I have posted to a couple other for sale ads and already been contacted by one with a '68 manifold. I've worked a deal out with them pending pictures. Plus this morning someone in South Carolina contacted me with a '71 intake if the other one falls through. So hopefully I'll be set for an intake between those two. I will be needing other things though I'm sure and will keep you in mind. Thanks for your time.

65rocket, welcome to the site! I should have some of those items, but will have to dig around and see. I've had some other requests for parts that I'll be trying to come up with this weekend. I'll add your items to the list.

Charles, sorry I don't have an extra rear bar. But you will also need the boxed control arms to use it. That gives the lower control arm more rigidity so it won't bend when the sway bar puts pressure on it. If you can't find the original control arms you can purchase inserts aftermarket and have them welded in. John

Welcome to the site!
I'll have to look and see, which may take me into next weekend. The car thing is a hobby on the side while the week is mostly taken up by my day job. But I would encourage you to create a parts wanted thread to see if anybody else can come up with them before I do.

Just read your other post. Sorry, I'd love to have the rally pack myself They come up every once in a while but are pretty spendy.

Hi Blu,
I am looking for a KH power steering pump pulley for a 1968 455 from a toronado that I have in a 75 cutlass supreme. I have a KC crank pulley and a KF water pump and already.

I also need the spacer that goes to the back power steering bracket that is on the side of the block in front of the driver side engine mount.

If you can help how much to 36117?

Hi 2blu. My needs list is long and distinguished. Off the top of my head, have you got a decent '65 cutlass front bumper? Perhaps a remote mirror for same? A set (or two) of good poverty caps? If you have any '64-65 Vista parts cars I'm going to move in with you....
My zip is 98264 at my p.o. box in Lynden Wa.

Hi Guys
Work has been busy and last weekend the weather was miserable for doing anything outside. The forcast is good for this weekend and I plan to do some car stuff so I'll look for the items you need as I try to fulfill other parts requests. 75cutty455, please let me know if you still need these items. Napoleon Solo, the only Vista specific parts I have from 1965-64 would be a fender emblem, but I have a couple 4 door parts cars so your welcome to send me your list in a PM or email. John

2Blu442,

I got the water pump from WTony (Good guy. Nice and prompt). I also found a spacer in my tool box but the inside diameter is slightly smaller than my 7/16 screw that goes into the side of the block. Im going to have that drilled today to fit. So I should be ok with that. I think.

However, upon reading multiple threads and looking at the pictures posted. I found out that I am missing the power steering bracket that attaches to the header screw.

Can you check to see if you have that and a KH Power Steering Pulley with the Key on it? Those are the last items on my list.
