John, I just really need the Right side, While trying to remove mine the rear bushing bolt was rusted in the bushing sleeve. I ended up having to use a sawzall to cut both ends off the bolt between the arm and frame mount. By the time I got it out I ended cutting into the surface enough that I dont trust reusing it. The left one is still in good shape.
Thanks
Gary

motor mounts for cutlass

I am looking for part of the motor mounts that bolt to the frame for a 75 Cutlass with a 350. Are these called frame mounts and do you have any? I am wanting to get the engine and tranny in my Cutlass before the weather breaks. Thanks

Gary, I'll get pictures for you this morning.

Hoody, I have heard those called motor mount "perches". I know I have some from 1970-72 but am not positive they were the same as 1973-77 models. I would encourage you to post the question under the General Discussion forum and even post a parts wanted ad. I will try to get some photos of what I have this weekend. John

OK, I took pictures of several items this afternoon. I'll post a couple pictures but please go to the photobucket link to see more. If there's any specific views you'd like to see that I didn't get let me know.

dhartly72, these are the 1970 Cutlass Supreme headliner trim. The front is blue and is the same on both the Cutlass S and Supreme. The rear is green and is specific to the Supreme. If your interested send me a PM with your address and I'll provide a price including shipping.

P1010274.jpg
Hoody, here's a 1971 Cutlass parts car with the 350 engine perches. Once you find out if these will interchange with your car send me a PM with your address and I'll get a total cost including shipping for you. If your having trouble getting that information I'd suggest you create a post under the General Discussion forum asking the question. Hopefully someone here knows the answer to it.

P1010263-1.jpg P1010266-1.jpg
Gary, here's a control arm and there's several more photos on the photobucket site. It looks to me like theres a very light egg shape to the sway bar mounting hole. I'd be comfortable using this piece, but I want to be sure you have the chance to evaluate it's condition and decide for yourself. Same as above, if you want it send me a PM with shipping address.

You're still parting those? Did I ever ask you if you had the 65' Club Coupe tailpanel Rocket? I'm still looking for one. I should be sending my car out to have your old quarters put on my car next month.

Gary, would you please send me your shipping address again, I must have deleted your PM by accident.

dhartly, I'll try to get shipping costs for you this evening.

ALLDUNS, I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your car. Sorry, I did have that piece but sold it long before we discussed the quarter panels. I don't remember their name, but it was someone on the ultra high compression site who bought the rocket and bars from the F85 tail panel.

projectheaven, I should have all those parts but it will be next weekend before I'll have time to dig them out. I'll also pick out the best core bumper and get shipping costs to you for that. John

Would you happen to have a 68 instrument cluster?
How about 68 headlight buckets?

Thanks

I'm new to the forum. How do you send a pm. These perches are what I need. Let me know how much to get them to me. Thanks for the help. I'm really looking forward to hearing the olds rumble.

68Cutlassdriver, I have gauge pods with the idiot lights, speedometer then clock. But I don't have the rally pack gauges if that's what your looking for.
When you say headlight buckets, do you mean the metal piece the headlight fits into or the plastic on each side that surrounds two headlights each?

Hoody, if you hover the mouse over my name above the picture and give it a single click with the left mouse button. You'll see a dropdown menu appear and it will have I believe four options including private message. It's best to post personal data like mailing address or phone number in a private message. That way you can be more confident that a spammer won't get ahold of it. If you send me your shipping address I'll provide you with a price including shipping. John

Hi Ken
Sorry I don't, but just yesterday I had someone tell me about what they thought was a 1969 Cutlass being eaten by blackberry vines. I'll drive by it soon and check it out. Is the member close enough to the border to hop over the line and pick it up? I understand big packages are spendy to ship over the line. John

plee3 64Olds the only extra bumper I have is badly dented. If you already have a solid core I'd suggest you have it straightened and replated. If you don't have a solid core send me a PM and I'll get photos for you next weekend. John

jo75olds, sorry I missed replying to your post earlier. I've got parts from a 1973 442 and 1974 Supreme that I think some will interchange, like a deck lid and bumpers, header panel and front fenders. The core support and top plates for 3 and 4 core radiators, overflow bottles. Misc interior parts including gauge pods, AM/8 track (no FM, just AM & 8 track!). Sidemarker lights, aluminum trim from around the front and rear windows. I have console parts but not a complete console, a floor shifter. Swivel bucket parts but not a complete set of seats. I should have some seatbelts but would have to look to be sure. Probably some other stuff but that's what comes to mind right now. Your welcome to PM me a list of what you need and I'll see what I can come up with.

Whoops! Once again I got busy and didn't check this thread. Henry, are you still needing a distributor?

Derick, sorry I don't have the molding or bumper you need. Have you created a parts wanted thread yet? If you haven't yet, give that a try. Then if you don't get a response in about a week, move it back to the top again. There's a lot of members here and hopefully one of them has what you need. John

Looking for cylinder heads

Guys,

I am rebuilding an olds 425 but I am having trouble finding heads at a decent price. Can any of you help me? I'll take almost any head that is complete and works except for J heads. I am in Chicago....

Thanks

What do you consider a decent price? The C's seem to have the greatest demand of the common castings. You should be able to pick up a set of E, G or Ga at $100 or less. They would need the valves done and maybe guide work.

If you haven't created a parts wanted thread in that forum I'd encourage you to do so. It would be best if you could find a set close by to save on shipping. John

Tomppa, sorry at this time I don't have any 1968 Delta doors or quarter panels.

Stan, I'm glad you found something local. That saved the cost and trouble of shipping over the border.

1964droptop, I've not gotten to my 1964 project yet, but looked at the parts car and it has broken lenses. There is a guy on ebay selling a bunch of 1964 Cutlass parts, I've not seen these lenses yet but you might try contacting him. John

Hi John,

Just wondering if you'd happen to have an air cleaner in good shape that would be good for my '72 Cutlass 'S' (350 4bbl), I believe that anything from '68 through '72 would do the trick? I've got a '75 air cleaner on there now and the snorkel sits on the wrong side of the engine..

Thanks!

-Tony

By any chance do you have the black plastic console base for a 1968 Olds Cutlass S 4 speed?

John,

Do you have an Intermediate Steering Shaft for a 1968 Cutlass? I'm looking for one without a ripped or torn rubber boot.

Thanks,

Alan

PS, your PM box is full.

Tony, I think I've got the air cleaner but am not sure. I'll need to look next weekend.

Jeff, sorry I don't have the 4 speed console base.

Allen, I may. Do you know if the intermediate shaft from 1969-72 will interchange? If they do I've got lots of 70-72 columns.

Yep. Too pooped after work to log on yesterday, but I cleaned my inbox out some tonight.

John
