65F85, sorry I haven't replied sooner. I have an extra rear bumper, but not the front. What part of Northern California are you in? Will you be going to the Nationals in Reno next week? If so, I could bring the bumper for you to look over and if you decide to purchase it save the shipping costs. If you haven't found the sites devoted to 1965 cars you should check them out. They are:

http://ultra-hi-comp.proboards.com/index.cgi?

http://442restoration.homestead.com/Parts4Sale.html

manny72supreme, yes I have fenders that fit your car. Where are you located? Shipping can add a lot to the price and if your not close someone else may be closer. If your going to the Nationals in Reno let me know and I can bring some for you to inspect.

mv64cutlass, any 330,350,400,425,455 oil pan will bolt up to your engine. I have been told the drainplug hangs down below the crossmember on the 1964-65 so they used a flat plug you could put a ratched into and remove. I've only seen one of these so I'm not sure if that is true or not. I've got lots of oil pans, where are you located? If your on the East Coast or Mid-West I can suggest a couple members over there who may have one for you and save on shipping. Also, note the links I posted above for the 1965 sites. They have information that applies to 1964's so you might find it useful to check them out too. John

oil pan

Hey John, I'm in Sacramento CA, how much do you want for a pan including shipping? I've been told any pan from a SB or BB olds up to 1980 will work, I prefer to keep it as original as possible so a SB would be best. Please let me know...thanks Michael

Hello Michael, yes I've got some nice ones that aren't dented up and I would take $15 for one not counting shipping. Will you be going to the Nationals in Reno later this week? If so I can bring it down and save you the shipping. If not would it be OK to wait until I return to package it up? Let me know what you think. John

That sounds great John, unfortunately I'm not going to Reno this weekend but next week will be fine for shipping it out. How do you want payment? I can do paypal or send you a check, or whatever method you prefer. You can send me info at mv64cutlass@hotmail.com. Thanks a bunch, MV

70 Cutlass headlight bezels

HI John! Would you have a set of nice headlight bezels for my 70 Cutlass? I have purchased in the past a repro set about 5 years ago and they were terrible. I sent them back.
Thanks
Darryl

Hey John-
I'm looking for a set of 65-67 rear upper control arm cores. Got anything (prefer a pair not badly pitted if possible).

I'm also in need of the two front brake line mounting tabs that screw to the frame for a 66/67 w/ drum brakes.

Thanks-
Ben

costpenn, yes I have some extra oil pans. If you would send me a PM with your shipping address I can get costs including shipping for you. Also if you send me your email address I can send pictures directly to you rather than uploading them to the photobucket site before posting here. John

costpenn and Ben, PM's sent

Darryl, I came up with these. I think they'd be OK for a driver but not show quality. They have tiny specks that may be from wintertime sanding of the roads. I can also see the rainbow colors of anodizing (?) so I don't think they could be polished without taking this protective coating off. The pass side has a small dent that with care could be straightened. If you wanted to try them price would be $25 plus shipping. Check out the photos and let me know if you have any questions or would like to see any other views. John

Hey there 2blu442.

I am in need of a cranksaft. I have a 68 455 out of a Toronado, and my crank needs turned .40 over and I was told that it wont work if I do that. Do you have any and if so what is the price for it? Preferably an N crank.

75cutty455, yes I have extra N crank shafts but shipping can be expensive on a heavy item like this. What part of the country are you in? If your not near the West Coast I'd encourage you to create a parts wanted thread listing your city and state, or the closest big city. I believe there's several members here with extra crank shafts, but if you don't find one close at a reasonable price send me a PM (private message) with your shipping address and I'll let you know the total cost including shipping. Also, it's up to you if you want it shipped just wrapped in cardboard and risk it being damaged, or to pay for my time to build something out of wood to ship it in.

66olds4dr, yes I should have those bolts but will have to dig around to find them. It would be next weekend before I have time to look. My day job keeps me pretty busy during the week.

Hey John
Looking for the two trim pieces that go under the passenger door, from the front of the rear tire to the back of the front tire. I really only need the long front piece and the clips that attach it. Also do you have a good un-pitted up driver side mirror and block and screws to attach it to the door?

Doing the headliner on the '65 Cutlass and discovered we need some small parts.

When we took the headliner side "earmuffs" out, one side had a small clip that the cardboard piece locked to. One side had it, one did not. We need one of those clips, they are just below the side dome lights. There are holes for 2 on each side but ours had just 1 on 1 side?

Item #2 goes on the sunvisor. We need the 2 small chrome ends that go on the lacing, the small one and the longer one.

Good talking to you in Reno, here's what we brought up there. 2011-07-28150814.jpg

Johnathan, I believe these came off the 1966. I checked and they're the right size and thread. Please send me a private message (PM) with your address and I'll let you know a total cost with shipping.

P1010156-1.jpg

P1010157.jpg

Denny, sorry I don't have extra lower trim pieces from the 1964

xerxes600rr, I've got those but it will be the weekend before I can dig out a set. Contact me again if you still need them.

Al, I believe I've got an extra trunk lid but I'll have to check it's condition. I'll try to get some pictures for you this weekend.

66 Oldznut, you've got a beautiful car! Yes it was good meeting you and the other members at Reno! I may have the parts you need, could you send me a picture of the clips and I'll check my parts cars? Then the trim pieces on the sun visors, I'll have to see if I have some good ones that aren't rusty.

OK guys, I check the pictures and think I need to find the hand cleaner!

Here's a pic of the clip, it's just below the side dome light. 2011-08-31070318-1.jpg This is a friend's car I'm helping with him with until I get my '66 out of the paint shop. He's had the car since 1971. Oh, orange Gojo, the stuff with pumice works great, lol.............

66 Olznut, I think I have those. If I'm looking at the right thing, they're very similar to the door panel clips from 1970-72, maybe 68-69 too.

dartphil, sorry I don't have any of the shaft style heads. I do have newer ones from 330's and 350's. It would be the weekend before I can get some photos for you. But if you'd be interested in the newer style heads send me a PM with your address so I can get shipping costs for you.

Work has me hammered at the moment, but I hope to spend some time with the car stuff this weekend. John

John, I found another one and got a better pic, the rear side panels have the same type of clip, that's where I found this one, we also found out that one of the side panels is missing a clip so I need 2.

66 Olznut, I've got a bunch of those! That is the same clip used to hold the door panels on in 1970-72, maybe 68-69 too. Please send me your full name and address in a PM and I'll get some headed your way the end of the week.

72 Olds Supreme, yes I have some wheels but shipping to VA will more than double the price. I'd encourage you to create a parts wanted thread and see if there's someone closer with extras. If you totally strike out, or can't find anything at a price you think reasonable, then get back to me. But I'd really hope you can find some closer. John

Sorry guys, work has been demanding too much of my time lately!

BoOlds, I have the bumpers. But with the metal support behind the chrome they're very heavy! What part of the country do you live in? Have you found the 73-77 site yet? http://www.73-77olds.com/index.php

royalrods, sorry I don't have anything on your list. Have you created a parts wanted post yet?

carjunkie, what kind of manifold are you looking for? Do you need the correct casting number for a specific year? If not, a 350 or aftermarket 4bbl intake would be easier to find and would also fit. The choke will be different with the newer manifolds, but if you are not needing original there should be ways to make that work.

66olds4dr, yes I got your PM and replied to it this evening

For anyone out there who doesnt already know this, 2blu442 has to be one of the nicest people in the Olds community I've had the pleasure to know. Reading some of the above responses to questions (wanting to save people on freight, being honest in his descriptions, fairness in pricing, etc...) is really encouraging to hear during these tough times.

We did not come to a deal on the above oil pan, but it wasnt for a lacking of trying on his part.

Thank you,

Joe M

By chance, do you have a center console for an automatic '69 F-85? Also looking for the script "F-eightyfive" emblems and both grill inserts. Thx.

Joe, thank you for the kind words. Being part of this community is part of the hobby. Interacting with others who are just as crazy about these cars adds to the pleasure!

Douglas, I've got the grills and may have a console. I'll see what I can dig up this weekend and post some photos. Send me your address in a PM and I'll give you a price quote including shipping.

Johnathan, I think I do have the 1966 heater box. But I'll have to look around to be sure. I'll put that on the "parts wanted list" I'm working on this weekend.
