In 83' Oldsmobile sent 3001 Cutlass' to Car & Concepts to get converted into Hurst's. However there was one extra that was built that did not get counted in the 3001 production numbers. What is the significance of that one car?

Nice job Pat!! That is correct. 3001 were produced but one white Hurst went to Linda Vaughn but was never accounted for, but was later crushed in 1986. You again have the floor sir

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say GLS coupe is one of the rarest and roughly say 76 were made

Ryan, your answer for GLS coupe is correct! but the total was higher than 76.

Hint, there are less of these than Final 500's

2nd part answer is 476 GLS coupes were produced. Info from GM heritage center.

Ryan, you stuck your neck out and got 50% of the question right, so take the ball and run!

That pretty much sums up my high school career haha.

Ok here is a semi easy one. in 1972 Hurst supplied the Official Pace Car for the Indy 500 instead of automaker manufacture. What event led to automakers to be hesitant to supply the car for that year?

The well-publicized crash of the 1971 Dodge Challenger pace car into the press photographers' stand. No automaker wanted to touch the 1972 pace car.

Edit: Here's the video:

The Oldsmobile engine lineup for the 1972 model year was unique in a way that had not been seen since 1963 and would never be seen again. What was it?

The CCC computer system was introduced on the 307 in 1981.

One region did not receive this until 1986. What region?

Canada used the M4ME carb until 1986. US used the ccc or E4ME from 81 on.

L33 = 320 HP 455 2bbl for an additional $107.43

L65 = 250 HP 350 also 2bbl to deduct $33.70

When ordering a 1970 Ralleye 350, how many options were mandatory and already checked off for you on the order form? Name the RPO codes that were checked.

Which one of the Rallye mandatory options, was later dropped to a option (not mandatory and pre checked) on the ordering sheet.

Back when my dad had one of these I remember reading all the info on the car. I loved that car! Although my info might be somewhat incorrect seeings I was very young at the time, but if I remember right it seemed like the W35 rear deck spoiler was later switched to a option.
