1992 Oldsmobile Achieva. Who-da thunk it?

I thought the Cavalier was the first car with the 100K tune up schedule, so the answer would have been the Firenza. But nope. Achieva.

What were Ransom Olds' daughters names?

Extra credit for middle names, too.

1919 was the first year Fisher Body became associated with GM, what year did Fisher Body become a major player in the building of a GM automobile?

My source for the wedding morning trivia question was the bio: R.E. Olds Auto Industry Pioneer by George S. May. Found on page 33 to be precise.

I would have said 1910, when they started making bodies for Cadillac.

Of course Cadillac wasn't part of GM then.

I guess I should've worded it different. GM bought 60% of Fisher Body in 1919 and the remainder in 1926. But Pat nailed the answer I was after

I guess it's my turn? Since were dealing with early Olds history. Fenders/mud guards were an option on curved dashes, how much was that option?

That seems disproportional to the price of the car, as it comes out to not quite 4% of the price of the car. By comparison, if you bought a 30,000 car today, the 4% mudflaps would cost 1200. Maybe on a Ferrari.

Give me a little bit, I'll come up with a good question.

I already thought of that also! But I ran it through the 1900 to 2010 adjusted for inflation calculator, $660 in round #'s. Also if you think in terms of the roads back then, you could ask a pretty penny and get it!

Let's run down to the other end of Olds history to make it in touch with recent memories.

3 part question, sorry had to put a little twist

Final "500's" is a misnomer for which model? and how many were made of that model? and the reason for this happening?

The Shilloute, 360 produced...ran out of production capacity due to fleet orders for vans on the same assembly line.

What is the only model that we consider an Olds to be recognized by the CCCA as a full Classic?

Something like that I think we've touched on the subject before but who wants to dig back through 11 or so pages LOL

Okay here goes...

Along with too many firsts to list, name the year, cubic displacement, HP and vehicle that Oldsmobile 1st used a V8 in their lineup.
