Did ya'll notice how after just a short visit with Adrian, he has learned the correct way to say "you!"

Have a great week-end!

A beautiful Palm Sunday here in the northern hills of South Carolina.

I guess everyone is out cruising in their beautiful Oldsmobile.

I might even take Blue Belle out of the garage for a spin. The top is down and I just have to move the generator that's behind her. I've had it ready to go during all of this terrible weather we've had. Thank goodness I've only had to use it one time.

Come out, come out, wherever you are.....

Good morning all

Cool and wet here supposed to be clear by noon. Gonna try to hit the small white ball around later today, then pack my bags for Mississippi next week. I'll be talking to the gang from a small town call Olive Branch. Don't know if there are any Olds nuts local or not.

Sounds like you have the makings of a great meal Jamsbo, hope your lip survives the evening. Keeping one's mouth shut can be trying.

Have a great day all

Evening All!

Glad none of you got the nasty tornadoes N.C. got! Terrible! We had rain yesterday, really heavy at times, and sun in between showers. Today it cleared up 10ish and the sun came out, but we had some strong winds and gusts goin. A lot of things from the neighbors yard was blowing across our back yard and continuing on down through the other yards.

I spent the day out cutting back the rose bushes. We have like 50 of them or so. Pulled some weeds and sprinkled more soap around what few tulips the deer have missed. I planted my green beans and green peppers in the starter thingy's Jamesbo! I bought 2 little Husky Red Cherry mater plants yesterday. They already have a couple blooms on em! I'll have to get them in pots soon. I only started 8 bean and 8 pepper plants.

Jamesbo.... we will get to meet one day! I have faith! I was wondering about the Colonel's family too. Wish Matt would let us know how they're doing and if they sold The Handsomest One.

Adrian!! Nice to hear from ya! I was wondering about you cause we haven't heard from ya for a few days! Nice pic, lol!

I never heard from anyone at Don Sitts Friday about Teepo. They were supposed to call me. So I'll be callin them in the morning to see whats goin on. I have separation anxiety, lol!

Citcapp.... check in with us while you're gone! Have a safe trip!

Have a good evening all!

Morning All!

It's a cool 40's morning with some light rain on and off. Kinda dank. Back to work. Nothing new or exciting going on. My back is sore from being outside yesterday doing things I'm not used to doing, lol. I gotta call Don Sitts and see what the status is with Teepo.

Jamesbo.... couldn't you golf somewhere else?? Your Easter dinner sounds good. We'll have the candied yams, mashed taters, deviled eggs, vegies, hominy and rolls with the ham. Just like Christmas dinner. I got the ham Friday night. I always get a bunny cake at Giant Eagle for dessert.

I might get Linda Saturday night and bring her down to spend the night so she can color eggs with me and Nicole. I love to color eggs!! The I have to make the Easter baskets. Hopefully the weather will be decent on Sunday.

Have a great day all!

You make me laugh, Jamesbo!!! I don't hide the eggs anymore since Nicole is grown. That used to be so much fun!! I just like to color them and put them in people's baskets. And make egg salad of course, with the leftover ones, lol!

And bite your tongue..... we're NOT having any snow on Easter!!! No...No..No. Looks like some more rain though..... my God, is it EVER just gonna get warm?? It's raining out here now. Has been all morning.

Morning All!

Come out come out wherever you are!!

It's in the 40's and pouring down the rain here today. I hope it's nice on Friday cause we are off. Can't compete with Adrian's long weekend, but I'll take 3 days!! Don't know yet what I'm gonna do. Maybe touch up some paint in the house and clean the garage floor. Sure would be nice to have sun and 80 degrees so I could lay in my lawn chair, lol!!!

Well Nicole came home from her boyfriends place last night with black hair!! I don't like it. Makes her look too pale. Of course she likes it. I can't wait to hear Larry's reaction, lord!!!!! To him, if you change anything about yourself, that means "you don't like yourself" and/or "you're insecure with yourself". Ya can't just change something because you like it.

Well John at Don Sitts just called me. The water pump is leaking at the bottom. So they will put a new one on. I told him to make sure "correct" tower clamps go back on her!!! I put my can of engine paint in her when I took her over, so they can paint it again. They can't fix that little tear in her seat back. So I'll have to have the whole seat redone eventually. She needs front brakes, and the right rear wheel cylinder is leaking. They will install the new trunk seal, but said you can still see some of the old crappy black stuff around the outside edges of the channel in places. He didn't want to risk scratching the paint by scraping it and wondered if I wanted her to go to their body shop, but I figure that would cost alot of bucks, so I said no, I'll just clean it up if I think it looks too bad. They will take her to their exhaust shop that they use, so they'll get back to me with a price on that. He asked if I wanted dual exhaust put on ... tempting.... but I said no. I think that's all.

I still gotta find a place to repaint the rims. I don't care if her color can't be matched exactly. Pinehurst green will do! I don't think there's any metallic on the rims anyhow.

Well have a good day all!!

Sorry,

Sandy been study'in up on sum new tater salad recipes.

There's a grilled one w/ grilled taters, onion and EVOO.
and a friend sent me one with [of all things] cottage cheese ad sour cream w/ red oinion she swears by.

Dis falls under the rather VAST catagory of "NONE OF MY BUSINESS"

But, I need a program er sum'in to keep the players straight.

Is Larry Nicole's father?

Sorry to be so personal but "inquiring minds want to know"

You can paint for the wheels by taking her to a auto paint & supply store, they should have one of those hand held spectrometer's that they place on one of the panited surfaces to get the correct formula for the paint. have them mix you 2-3 spray cans, and your'e ready to go.

I dunno if her wheels have clearcoat on them or not? Blue, are you out there somewhere?? Do you know?? I miss you......

Jamesbo.... No problem! No, Larry is not Nicole's father. Her father and I were never married. I raised her by myself, which was not an easy thing to do, until we moved in with Larry in 1999. She was 7 then. He's the wicked step father, lol!

I don't know if I like the sounds of those tater salads!!

But you and Larry are marriaged right? I remember sum'in bout rings and vodka.

Speak'in of tater salad. Has anyone ever left a tater boil'in after ya ****** em out. I'm kinda think'in bout mak'in a r-e-a-l thick tater salad and thought about leav'in one tater in and mash'in it up w/ mayo. Whatcha think?

Sorry, I don't think this subject is poll worthy

Yes..... Larry and I got married in 2007. The vodka was in January on New Years day, when he had his drunken tirade over Nicole and that accident, and he got all in my face screaming and yelling, and I had to have Nicole crawl out her bedroom window so he wouldn't kill her. Your memories are correct, just not in order, lol!

I'd leave the tater salad alone, lol. I'm eating left over sketty for lunch, then I'm gonna go out and walk if the rain isn't pouring again. Got a little break in it right now.

I don't know if the SSIII's are clear coated or not, when I put the 15's on the back of my '71, I used the paint that the auto supply store mixed for me, and the sheen is what I wanted. Maybe just lucky.

My TW is the same way. I guess they all are the same.

Mine recently brought up one that I did in 1981, that didn't hurt either of us!

I have the absolutely worst cold. I'm doing all the suggested remedy's but I know it will last 6 days!

Morning All, where ever you are!

Don..... sorry to hear you're not feeling well! Hope you feel better soon.

We have storms in the area today. Had a heck of a storm come through last night. Thunder so loud the house would shake, lol. Lightening everywhere..... I slept like crap. I never wake up feeling like I've slept, but today I feel worse than usual.

Temp was 58 when I came to work, but supposed to drop to 30's tonight. I'm soooo tired of cold and gray. Light gray, medium gray, dark gray..... God it would be nice to see some yellow - as in the SUN!!!!!!! I'm lookin forward to having Friday off. Our first paid day off since New Years. I'm ready!!

Blue must have went into hibernation? Haven't heard from him. Hope all is ok!

Well have a good day all!

Morning Jamesbo!!

Guess it's just us..... Blue, where are you?? Wolfie?? Adrian?? Citcapp is traveling, Don is sick...

It's a beautiful morning here for a change. Only 39 degrees, but the SUN is out!!!!!! It seems like years since I've seen it, lol!!!!! And there's even BLUE overhead!!! Thank ya Jesus!! Spoke too soon , clouds are moving in.

We have rain coming in overnight and tomorrow though. 1/2 inch or more tomorrow, they're saying. Everything is drowning!! Our people in Houston say they need rain bad...... wish I could send them some cause we have plenty!! That's how it always is.

So you're floundering on poke, Jamesbo??? That's funny! Maybe you should have beef or turkey for Easter, lol. Give your arteries a break!

I plan on scrubbing the garage floor tomorrow. Hope the rain doesn't come in while I have the door open, but I guess it will help me rinse it out if it does, lol. Save me some work. I might clean the inside of Tincanio too. Haven't cleaned it since I've had it. I hate dust on the dash!

It's quiet and boring in here - more so than usual. Some customers are off today too so phones aren't ringing. Gonna be a loooonnnnggg day!

Well have a good one all!

Thanks, Jamesbo! I am starting to feel better! Just rained a little last night....

Sandy, I've just been 'lurking" cause I really didn't have much to add, unless a description of a sneeze or cough would add something to this thread.

Sandy and Jamesbo, you're not alone!

WHERE IS EVERYONE
