Morning All!

Nice to see people up and about!!! "Fixin to come up a cloud" Jamesbo?? I like that one, lol!!

It's fixin to come up a cloud here too. Had nice sun early morning, but is getting cloudier and darker. Sun looks like it's still trying... They're still calling for bad storms today. We lucked put yesterday and just got a few light showers in the afternoon. Nice most of the day!

I need to go out and take some flower pics to post. I posted nasty snow pics, now time for something pretty, lol!

Well my "trailer queen" arrived home! Of course she got a nice bath with the Ultimate Cloth, and a nice coat of wax.

I have to call over there to Don's this morning and ask about my exhaust. Told them I wanted aluminized - this looks like steel!! So I'm gonna find out. I don't know what kind of muffler is on her, there are no markings on it that I can see. It sounds rumbly though! I like that, lol!!

There's also some clear glue of some kind a couple places on the edge of the dash - must be where they put the new dash bead molding on. I don't know what to use to take the glue off without messing up the dash? I don't want the color fading or something. I'm not happy with that. Anyone know what I could use? Trunk seal is in, brake pedal is so full or something! Barely have to touch it to stop now, lol!! New water pump is painted.

Gonna go home tonight and clean under the hood. She is dusty under there. God it's sooooo nice to be out there working on her and cleaning her again!!!!!! I really miss her over the winter. Still wanna get the rims painted.

Brian is off today so it's nice and quiet in here. Don't have to listen to him whine about anything today.

Wolfie..... nice to have you back! Sounds like you've been getting a few things done. Always something to do.

I miss Blue.

Have a good day all!

It's raining here and when I look to the west, I see some really bad s#$t just to the west of Hogback Mountain.

We're in for it, Jamesbo!

We have lots of clouds "comin up" outside now! The wind is whippin... 40 - 50 mph gusts they're saying now. I know I walked at lunchtime, and it about blew me away, lol!! The roof on our building is making all sorts of unpleasant noises.... creaking and cracking. I'm ready to dive under the desk if need be!

Hey Adrian..... Where are you? Still working on the lawn tractor?? Haven't heard from ya!

I saw a couple of "toys" behind the one set of buildings across from us while I was walking. Took a pic with my phone. A Viper and I don't know what the other one was... it said Plymouth on the bumper. Lets see if I can post it. Hope they didn't blow away out there, lol!

Sandy, it's a Plymouth "Prowler" complete with motorcycle fenders! I almost bought one about 15 or 16 years ago, but the Trophy Wife said "NO!'

Morning everyone, I didn't get the email update for a few days for some reason ???

Glad to hear Teepo is back where she belongs Sandy, you will have to take a pic of the new exhaust, I remember what the old one looked like

Father in law is letting me use his spare mower until I can get mine fixed. As I still have some parts to buy for my rebuild they will be bought first as our dollar is still very good

It has been raining on and off pretty much since I got back in the country I figured that a month away would give the weather enough time to sort itself out, guess not

Hopefully I will get out next week for a round of golf with the guys from work, you have my play list there I see Wolfie

Night shift tonight so off to bed for me, have a great day ya'll

Morning All!

Jamesbo, you're bein a shi*! Glad those storms missed you! I feel so bad for the people in Alabama. Lord have mercy......... all those tornados that were around, just so sad. Weather is getting stranger and stranger........

We have a lot of branches laying in the yard this morning. The national weather service said Summit County here had 69 mph winds come through around 5:38 am. I can believe it! I was worried about Tincanio blowing away, lol! I sure didn't like driving it this morning - it was rocking all over the place! The tulips are bent over.

It's very dark and cloudy out here today. No rain yet, but I'm sure it will get here.

I have little hearts already on my one Bleeding Heart plant! It's so pretty. The Flowering Pear tree is blooming, Hydrangea's leaves are opening up. Now if we'd just get some sun.....

Nicole has been going up to Linda's every day and practicing for her skills test she has to take. Linda has been being her "resident" in the nursing home. She has to bath her, get her up, feed her, clean her teeth, etc.... She said she's doing pretty well! I sure hope she passes the test. It costs $100 to take it! She's supposed to come to the house tonight... Larry won't be happy I'm sure. But I don't care.

Hi Adrian!!! Nice to hear from ya! Our yard will look like a hay field ready for bailing once it ever gets mowed, lol! It's just too wet to get to it, but the grass is really growin!!! Yep, I will take a pic of Teepos exhaust eventually, lol! She sounds sooo strange being loud now!

Well have a good day all!

Was so bad last night I know it wiped out a few stills!

Dude you were very lucky, it looks like every house up there was damaged in some way. From what I get there is a strong 300 + fatalities as of yet. We are praying for those that haven't been found yet and for those that lost everything.

Morning All!

We got the rain coming down like the cow on the rock out here today. Miserable and dank. In the 40's. Supposed to be nice tomorrow though.

Glad your house got missed Jamesbo. I feel so bad for the folks in Alabama. Such horrible pictures. I remember when the tornado went through here back in the 80's. It ripped through Newton Falls, Niles and on over to Pennsylvania. I was working for the County at the time in the Building Dept., so we had to go over to Newton Falls - it was horrific!! I saw little slivers of wood driven into the sides of houses like you pounded them in with a hammer!! The tornado would get one house, next one would be ok, bounce across the road to houses on that side, back over to this side, hit, miss. Very strange! I have pics, but in albums of course. No digital then, lol.

I felt so bad for those people. They had to come in and get building permits to rebuild, and we were charging them for the permits! I couldn't believe it!! These people had been through so much, and then had to pay for a friggin building permit? I got mad and went to the County Commissioners and told them that that just wasn't right. So they waived the fees for those who were in our County. Made me happy! Took Newton Falls a long time to rebuild. The trees out there still look funny today, where the twister took the tops off and such. It was just terrible.

I haven't seen any of the Royal wedding as of yet. I'm gonna watch it on my computer at lunch time.

Nicole came by this morning and is sleeping there today. I moved the Intrigue over so she's not parked where she shouldn't be. Tryin to keep the peace.....

I didn't even go out to the garage and see Teepo last night. I was tired. Been short of breath alot lately and don't know why. I'll be out there tomorrow detailing under the hood. Everytime I get her back from Don's, she has dust on her!

Well have a good day all!

good morning

good to here your lake house wasn't damaged Jamsbo, my son is working on a job in Olive Branch MS, just 20 miles or so from were one of the storms took out a small town. He told me the sirens were going off all day. Feel for these people, hope the government reacts quicker helping them out. Lots of poor areas hit extra hard. More storms this year then any time in recorded history.

Springtime hayfever (allergies) maybe? I take a generic version of Claritin. Always seems to sneak up on me. Springtime I get shortness of breath and chest congestion. In the fall I get sinus problems. Never really had problems when I was younger. I was feeling bad for over a week. Three days ago it dawned on me, "Take your allergy pill dumbie" All kinds of energy now!

Don't know if that's your problem. But you might check. Hope you feel better!

Thanks Don... I know this heart pill I'm on causes it too, but allergies are around now. My nose gets so sore from wiping it all the time! It just seems to run all the time. I don't get watery eyes or sneezy, just the runny nose. I'm like my mother was - tissues in every pocket, lol! I keep saying that one day I'm going to an allergist and finding out just what I'm allergic to. It's all year long. I do take the generic version of Zyrtec every day for something else, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Morning all, last night shift over, I should have been in bed 3 hours ago

I hope you can find some remedy to help you with the "short of breath" your having Sandy

Good to hear your other house wasn't damaged with that wild weather Jamesbo, the weather world wide has been so crazy the last 12 months or so.

Lets all hope that Nicole can find some sort of routine with this job so Sandy doesn't have the fall out I'm sure she will with our encouragement

Time for bed, have a great day ya'll

I saw the tornado's on the news. Lately it's all you hear; floods, earthquakes, sunami's, tornado's, hurricanes... Maybe I shouldn't complain about the extra snow we got this year. So I shovelled snow off my roof....at least I had a roof to shovel. Hope we are doing something for those people. We had a DART team (Disaster Assistance Response Team) on the ground in New Orleans 24 hours after the US Gov't OKed it. Hope all goes well from here on in. Glad your house was untouched Jamesbo.

Morning All!!!

Surprise! It's raining - again!!!!! We had a decent day yesterday. No rain, temps in the 60's. It was nice.

Sooo..... TEEPO IS THE CALENDAR GIRL THIS MONTH!!!

There really should be sunshine for such an occasion, lol!

In the words of Stevie Wonder... "Isn't She Lovely, Isn't She Wonderful"

She is just sooooo pretty, lol!! Thanks so much BigJerr!

I spent most of yesterday afternoon out in the garage with her. Detailed the engine, shined the tires, vaccumed her and cleaned the interior and windows. I sure enjoyed it!

The cruise in's start today around here. There's one at Chili's in Macedonia from 5 to 8 tonight, but unless it stops raining, I'm sure there won't be many cars there. Last year, everytime I went there, there were no cars! So I quit going. Today is Camaro as the featured car I believe, but all makes are welcome. Don Sitts Riverfront cruise starts tomorrow. Supposed to rain.

Hey Adrian.... thanks for your encouragement with Nicole! I'm counting on you and Tink to keep her in line, lol! She'll listen to others before she'll listen to me, lol!! She really liked you guys. I do appreciate the help!!

I am really missing Blue not being on here. It's like losing the Colonel all over again or something. Depressing.

I have to go up to Lin's and see what all paperwork she got from the doc last week. See what he wants her to have done now, and how I can arrange it. At least her one daughter took her for her appointment. That was big of her, lol! Then I have some errands to get done, so I guess I better get off of here and get busy!

Have a great day all!!!

Nice to know ya'll are alive out there!! Glad someone has good weather - we have sprinkles now, which is supposed to turn into harder rain later, and clouds. Won't be a cruise at the Riverfront tonight I reckon. Temps only in the 40's tomorrow.

Yesterday I sat all my geraniums and gerber daisy's and such back out on the deck, from being in the breezeway all winter. My little green bean seeds are sprouting, Jamesbo!!

Have you looked at your Olds calendar today??

Wow. Beautiful day today, sunny skies. Well, it's off to the school to vote in the federal election today. I have until 7:30 pm tonight. Go mark my "X" and see on the 11 o'clock news if we get a new government.

I have to say that since I was 18, I have never missed a federal election. I threaten not to go. I almost talked myself into it last time, but with 15 minutes to spare, I cast my ballot. I feel that if I don't vote, I can't bitch about what the government does. Besides, in my world travels. I have been to many countries that can't really vote.

When I say "can't really" I mean they have one "approved" name on the ballot. There really is not a choice. Anyway, I worked on the 442 on the weekend changing out the master brake cylinder. Looks good.

Have a great day everyone.

Beautiful day on the ridge and I'm gonna plant some flowers today.

I was gonna do it yesterday, but I decided to do a few things with Blue Belle, like install some new floor mats that I got from a mail order place.

They don't say Oldsmobile, but will protect the carpeting!

Careful with that tiller, Jamesbo, because they can get away from you. I know from experience!

Have great day, everyone--

A bud told me about dis stuff call Milorganite which is spose to keep deer away. I'm gonna get it a try. The S.O.B's have allready started eating my brocolli.

I still ain't caught a Ground hog in my Hav-a-hart trap. But me an dis coon are getting to know one another on a first name basis. I catch him ever nite and let him loose every mawn'in.

Yeah yeah, I know what it is.... Mil [walkee] org[anic] nite[rogen] So It's only from Milwalkee.......... so it must have lost of beer residue in it.

Speak'in of which. There was a guy in the inner city of Hotlanta a few years back that made a kill'in sell'in sheep poop in 5 gal buckets. It made the flowers grow really well.................. Bah Bah Do Do.

Market'in is a wondeful thing Dontchathink.

We farmers don't worrry too much about dis kinda thing. I used to plant clover [very fine seeds almost like gold dust] by feeding it to my cows with cow feed. Think about it. The did a great job [de cows] of nicely distributing the seeds in moist fertilized piles all over my pasture.

I've got white clover all over the place now.

Good afternoon

Jamsbo,

great way of natural planting. Had our Olds meeting yesterday great sunny day most of the members showed up in their vintage olds. Great to see the cars out again.

Our first cruise in is next week end can hardly wait. Got the garage all cleaned out and organized of Saturday. Finally have enough room to get all the way around the 48.

You all have a great evening. I will chime in tomorrow

I am happy to help any way I can Sandy, just ask

I had to order a couple parts for the olds and send them to my friends in GA so they can send them on to me, they wouldn't do international shipping I started cleaning up the rest of the parts while I wait to get enough moolah up to buy the remaining parts and have the machine shop do their thing Those gravity fed sand blasters and just great for little jobs

Talk to ya'll later, have a gud'n,
