Nothing to do this morning. I started out with two wheels, likely left over from yesterday. The cages are empty, the robots are empty, the line is empty, so I'm sitting here trying not to stay awake. I may get up and go for a walk.
Supposed to warm up this week, only because it's gonna rain. Where's the luck. I did get some stuff out of the garage yesterday, so now I have to put it all away.
Greg do you have equipment to mount and balance those tires or are you going to take them somewhere. Discount Tire will mount tires I bring in, and then they will rotate them for free. My neighbor has a tire machine, I let him do my tires.
Norm those nails remind me of a fastener I used to repair my porch years ago. They were nails that were twisted. Supposed to keep the boards tight and keep from backing out. I can attest to that. A few years after I built the porch I wanted to take it apart. Boy howdy was that a bitch. Now I use screws.
Okay gonna go find something to do. Have a good day everyone.
Ya they looked something like that. Went in easy. Out, not so much.
I've gone through pounds & pounds of those nails. When I removed the paint from all exterior siding surfaces during the major renovation, most of the siding boards required new nailing. Original nails (1931) were square (straight-shank) head nails. Whenever I replace any siding boards I use them. Good resistance to withdrawal w/ great holding power.
Went grocery shopping. I've become very comfortable wearing an N95 mask each time I enter public establishments during the flu season & for good reason some people are simply nasty.
No Mike I don't have a tire machine. I have wanted one for a long time, just too cheap to pay what used ones sell for. WOW, just looking at tube, Train crash in Spain-terrible.
Supposed to get chilly ***** boogers around here in several days. I've been feeding the deer daily for ~one week. Not sure why since I don't intend to kill one & eat one from my kitchen window (but I wouldn't mind). I guess I'm fattening them up for the other hunters? Maybe.
Wrote/Scribed two dozen golf ***** (Callaway Supersoft) w/ a permanent marker. They're not the greatest golf ***** on the market but they're affordable & modestly forgiving. I'm contemplating a new set of irons - hmmm, we'll see.
I'm currently embarking on a full monty h/w & s/w update - primarily to ensure I have the latest CA certificates & TPM module loaded & tested. Apparently I enjoy the ensuing mayhem performing these updates. Actually, it provides me the opportunity to make some informed decisions regarding newer/newest technology I might be inclined to purchase. I don't have issues, I don't care to create issues, I'd prefer to review what options are available. This is unlikely applicable to most of you since I build my own desktop PC & network.

Norm - That is just plain smart as much crap is going around! Just found out from my daughter Blaire last night that her, SIL Justin, and Gabe have come down with the Norovirus, that most probably was spread by a family member, who tested positive for it after the fact, and was at a family gathering with them this past Saturday.

Norm - I see that and perhaps some snow for you too! It's going to be frigid here this coming weekend with lows in the single digits and chance of snow.
Awhile back you were asking how Patrick Kane was doing? I didn't see the game, but about a week ago he scored his 500th career goal, 5th all time for American born players. I watched an on-demand video of the Red Wings game 2-days ago on the 18th where they honored his achievement before the game. Impressive ceremony and quite the achievement!

And, you can't do anything for Noro (Norwalk) virus. Nothing, zilch, nada. Has to run (every pun intended) its course.

Yeah - the Chilly ***** Boogers are stopping by for a visit. Hopefully, they'll leave before the roofers begin. Actually, I suspect I'll be pushed forward at least one or two weeks since they won't lay shingles below 45°F - fine w/ me.
Nice to see Patrick honored. Thanks for letting me know. I could likely look up something and find the ceremony but I'm zonked from too much desktop PC 'stuff' and WWW browsing. Time to call it quits.

Gosh Norm, if you had a fireplace you could still have heat. Any idea what caused the outage? See any downed trees? Cars run into the light posts? One time the power went out at my house, turned out it was a squirrel chewing on the fuse up on the pole. Didn't end too well for him.
Busy this morning at work, a far cry from yesterday. I've already got more than half of what I did all day yesterday, and it's only first break. We should do okay today.
Computer says it's sunny out. I wouldn't know, I'm in a bunker. Hope it holds out, I need to get a few things out of the blue van and put them away.
Well not much else, hope everyone has a good Wednesday.

Literally, I was walking out the door into the man-cave to fire up the portable generator & the power came back on. Alert I received said it was caused by equipment damage. I suspect at the intersection ~2,000' from my home where NCDOT & a slew of contractors are removing an entire intersection to install a new traffic roundabout. Someone likely screwed the pooch. Speculation on my part.
Ug I hate roundabouts. Nobody seems to know how they work. The county I live in has begun a love affair with them and are putting them everywhere. There's a small one near my house that was just paved over concrete, and when I would drive the Duece that way I would just go straight over the middle of it. Now I see that they've created some huge planter on top of it so driving straight over it isn't possible. Well, in the Deuce maybe.
Things have slowed down so I'm having a snack. Wheat Thins. I love these things but I wouldn't eat them for a long time because they have BHT added to them and that was deemed carcinogenic. These days it is deemed not bad for you but won't do you any favors. Eh, I eat enough that's bad for me what's a little more.

Good deal Norm, I'm glad it came back for you sooner than originally projected! 👍 😃
Sunny with a projected high of 47°F this afternoon. We're definitely on that Midwest Winter weather rollercoaster again. Projected high of 14°F Friday, with an overnight low of 0°F into Saturday morning, and about the same Sunday. It's no wonder everyone is sick!
Did a Cardio workout yesterday for the first time in a long while, probably about a week and a half, but I don’t how long for sure. It was Hell, but I got thru it. Now it's a matter of getting back into the routine, which is never easy.
No big plans for today. This afternoon after school is out I will run over to my Daughter Blaire's house for just a second. I don’t plan on going in because they're all ill. Gabe will be 13 tomorrow, a teenager now, which is very hard for me to believe! I'm going over to drop off his Birthday card and present.
Time-outs/Delays, incorrect rendering of posted images. Conflicts in back-end DB w/ front-end website. Cloudflare misconfiguration(s) and vulnerabilities is the likely issue. The back-end won't keep up w/ the front-end - e.g. crash cargo.
I went over to my Daughter's house about 3:30 after the boys were home from school. Mom and Dad both went to work today, Gabe had stayed home from school for the 2nd day in a row and was napping when I showed up. Mom says he's milking it and is definitely going back to school tomorrow. Mom woke Gabe up and he was very thankful for the card and cash gift. Luckily, Keegan has avoided the Norovirus so far! I wore an N95 mask in, didn't get real close or hug anybody, and didn't stay long. Washed my hands thoroughly when I got home.
It got up to 50° today with sunshine and was gorgeous. Absolutely dreading the single digit lows and snow forecast for Friday and thru the weekend! Both boys have games scheduled for Saturday, Gabe's game in the morning is a 2-hour drive away in Jefferson City, MO. Whether I go to either will be totally dependent on when and how much snow we get?
From a very brief dialogue w/ Eric it appears this is occurring on other IB websites; and, likely any revenue-generating websites will get attention far sooner than CO.

Par for the course in today's world. Whomever is greasing "The Man's" palm is gonna get the attention.

Yeah, well I don't want to publicly ridicule anyone at IB, but IB developers have had challenges in the past - serious challenges. Best I leave it alone. The only way CO remains alive is the pittance of revenue they make from advertisements. I mean seriously, the only way IB pays salaries is via targeted advertisements.

Believe me, I'm not complaining either. I get a ton of enjoyment out of conversing with all you guys, and have learned a ton in the process. I just hope CO stays afloat regardless of the means! 🤞

Oh, I know you aren't complaining - I'm not complaining, just broadcasting what I perceive as some unorthodox ways of managing an environment w/o any 1st-hand knowledge from the inside; but what little I know of the IB CO website speaks to establishing some rules of engagement when developers muck about in the sandbox.
