Chris, yes a Studebaker, but not sure of the exact year. I believe that they ran that body style from about 1954 through 1958, though I wouldn't swear on it. Norm, about ten years ago I was cruising on a local street, and pulled up along a Wildcat identical to this one (1969), an older couple was driving it. I never saw it again. This one was originally from the Detroit area, and now resides in Luther, Mi. northeast of Baldwin.
A well-behaved but young (2-3 yrs old) chocolate lab was tempting fate running about the front of the house deciding if he should tackle some rolling vehicle tires until I (noticing he had a collar) stepped in. I called the telephone # on the collar & his owner picked him up.
Wonderful you took the initiative to step in and save him Norm. Thanks for being a good Samaritan! 👍

Dan - I did some online sleuthing and I believe the large fins on the rear of the Studebaker are the telling feature. I believe it's a 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk.
Bought a Cook's sign on Ebay, but it was local, so I went to Linton and got it, along with another CV sign he sold me. Tornado warnings up there tonight.
I still need a Studebaker 1955 2 door sedan late run with bigger V8, standard, with OD for the hill climb.
