Need Advice on 455 Build

I have My block, crank, and connecting rods at a local machine shop in Alaska. the 455 will probably have to be bored over .060. Looking for Advice on making 450-500 horses . Want a Streetable ride. I pulled it out of a parts car. it had a cn crank in it.
Need advice on the process/order at machine shop and parts as well. Thanks in Advance

Welcome to the site Tony. Sorry, I don't have any suggestions about your 455 build, but I know there's several members here who have done what you want to do.

If you don't get a reply read through some of the build threads and maybe send a PM to some of the guys who have built engines like you want.

Have your pistons before you have the block bored. That way they can get the right piston to wall clearance.
Have your rods resized with new bolts and sized to factory minimum spec. I always have a line hone performed on the mains so I know they are straight. Once again stay to factory minimum spec. Once all block work is complete give the machine shop the rod & main bearings to put in the resized rods and main saddle so they can mic for actual size. Then grind the crank for desired clearance. Personally I set the BBO up at .0022 to .0025 on both rods and mains. Never had an issue with this clearance set up.

X2 on everything except the rods. Don't waste your time on the stock stuff, they suck. Buy the Eagles, they're much stronger and even lighter. Go figure.
