Is good for both temperature control and noise reduction. This is fatmat which is only .50 mil, I'm going with rattle trap which is .80 mil for the floor, inner firewall, area behind rear seat, and maybe inside the doors. I want this puppy to sound like a caddy and cool like a fridge

They lost my brackets when I rechromed them and I ended up buying some of off ebay that don't line up well. I have tried adjusting the eccentric bolts which usually fix that with no luck. What I might end up doing is heating up the brackets while jacked up in the corners to see if it will flex any but that's not a big concern right now. I'm kind of tired of working on my car and just want to drive it for a bit.

My front bumber tilted back a bit . I used a few fender washers on the top bolts on the flat mount pad to adjust it up till i was happy with the fit . You can only see them from the bottom and it worked good.

I feel your pain about working on it too much.I just got my carbs back yesterday, the bumpers shpould br ready next week and the seats and door/quarter trim panels the week after. And its time to go up to the boat and polish her up before spring splash in may.I havent had a break since fall.I wasnt criticising your bumpers i was just curious if that was what i had to look forward to fixing too.Glen

I tried that but it hits my hood . I either have to get another bracket for the drivers side or bend the one I have

I know, it gets a little overwhelming after a while. So like I said I'm just going to let things ride for a bit then jump back on it

Frame Machine

if its too high in the front you could find a local body shop with a frame machine and have them tie the bumper bracket down and then jack up the frame. that will pull the bracket down and should rotate it at the same time to bring the back corner up. I can't imagine a decent guy charging $100 to help you out. My father owns a shop in PA and he does that kind of stuff all the time. That will save you the time and hassle of another bracket when the frame might even be tweeked a bit.

thank you, price was not bad, $2300 at a shop called Master seat covers here in Miami. That included new headliner, visors, dash, console, carpet, seats, and making door panels from scratch which he made of off a picture I gave him and the original trim.

To include all of that, that really isn't a bad price!
