Flywheel question

Hey guys,

I'm having my clutch and pressure plate replaced on my 64 olds 442, and my guy says the flywheel is scored and needs turned down. I couldn't find any new ones so I told him to go ahead, any down sides to having it turned? He says $38 without the labor, seemed reasonable

Comments?

I believe "resurfaced" is the best common term for that procedure. Always a good idea, unless it gets too thin. Price sounds OK.
