ST 72 = style/model year = 1972
34267:
3 = GM division = Oldsmobile
42 = body type = Cutlass Supreme
67 = body style = convertible
LAN = assembly plant = Lansing MI
310361 BDY = body number (has nothing to do with the VIN)
TR 977 = trim/interior color = white
36 A PNT = lower and upper exterior body colors = radiant green (36) with a white convertible top (A)
12A = time build code = December (12), first week of that month (A), 1971
A65 = option code = custom sport front seat, including center armrest and bright moldings

Hope this helps!

Post a picture of the 'build sheet'. If you found one, that's the first one we will have ever seen.

Do you know what the difference between a build sheet and a broadcast card is?

Although it's a little worse for wear, that is indeed a broadcast sheet. Lansing was about the only factory that you'll not see build sheets from. Kind of strange they would allow the broadcast cards to remain stuffed into the cars, but not build sheets.
