I'm just realizing that I'm probably going to need to change the valve seals after breaking in the cam with just the outer spring. I'm not sure yet because I haven't tried putting the inner springs in yet but looking at the extra fel pro seals I have they're not going to work, but I used some other brand umbrella seals.

My options are pull heads and get them machined for different seals? What seals would I do that with?

Run no valve seals but I don't think that will be good for a daily driver.

Is there any seals that I can use with out machining? Anyone have experience with this?

If you don't want to spend to much money, just put the umbrella type back on, they work.

Depending on what your inner spring measures a Chevy umbrella might work but it may also be too small to go over the guide. You really wont know till you pull the springs off and take a look.

Cut the valve guide down to fit a modern positive seal or measure what you have and purchase a modern positive seal to fit.
