Hi guys! Silly question but I'm heading to the auto parts store to get the Water neck to water pump hose for my 1972 olds 350 and I forgot the old piece of hose. I believe it's double walled but I don't remember the size. Anyone know off hand? It's that short 3 or 4 inch piece. Thanks! It's a 40 minute drive back home so I appreciate your help!

I believe that is a preformed hose made for the Olds 350 and 455.

it would be regular radiator hose, buy a couple feet of 3/4" ID hose and cut as needed/ Your car should have the formed steel tube on the water neck that makes it a straight shop to the water pump nipple

Ok Brett. So just to make sure I got it right , heater hose is different than radiator hose right? Because i have 3/4" heater hose but it doesn't seem as thick as the radiator hose.

you can buy bulk hose at any auto parts store. yes it is heater hose, just make sure it's stamped for 250deg F (or more) & 50psi burst (or more)
