67 330 needs new distributor

Looking to rebuild or replace my original distributor with the same style setup. Any suggestions? Kits out there that have the correct springs and dist. gear ?

You can get a rebuilt from your local auto parts store and transfer the weights from your old distributor if they are different before returning the core.

Ken also can rebuild your distributor and do a custom curve as well.

Went to that web sight, but did not see a gear with the rebuild kit. Thought it was important to change the gear when changing to a new camshaft?

Not unless you have a billet roller cam.

Consider sending your distributor to a private rebuilder that will re-bush it, put it on an old school Sun distributor machine and set the advance curve accurately. You'll have the original distributor tuned better than when it left the factory.

Good luck!!!
