You can use any distributor that fits a 330,350,400,425,455 and some others.

I would look into something like a pertronix kit and keep your distributor. It will eliminate the points and keep the factory advance mechanisms.

I made a guess on your distributor number based on it being a 67 2bbl engine.

Basically any Olds HEI distributor will fit and run. Make sure you get full 12 volts to the new distributor after the conversion to maximize the effect though since the original points style usually has a resistor wire to drop the voltage. It is a big hairy discussion whether HEI adds performance or not, but it sure can wake an engine up if the old distributor was worn or out of tune in any way. You may also need to tune the HEI to your individual engine as well. Lots more to it than just stabbing in a new distributor and driving away but it is a great way to modernize your ignition. Well, a little anyway.

Something else to consider if using the HEI, your stock air cleaner may not fit since the HEI is bigger.

2x on the Pertronix. Simple to put in, like changing a set of points plus a couple wires. Then you also don't need different spark plug wires as you would with the HEI.

With the HEI you’ll need more plug gap also. About .045

If original appearance matters go with the Pertronix, a later OE Olds HEI distributor looks very different. Pertronix would also keep the current distributor and its advance curve, check the current distributor by number to see if it is the correct one before factoring this into the decision.

If you're looking to tune it well, consider having whichever distributor you choose set-up to spec on an old school Sun distributor machine.

Good luck!!!
