I video recorded the vacuum hose connections of the '87 Olds 307 as a reference when I was removing them. Thought to share them because someone might find it useful. There was only one hose at the back of the carb which I am not sure. Experts are welcome to comment if there was a mistake in the first place.
Thanks, could you re-upload it? Would be very helpful.
Hi,
I have changed the status from private to unlisted (apologies, that I didn't notice), you may view the playlist through the link now.
I tested it, the link should work.
However, I have noticed a slight difference (I could be wrong too) compared to the vacuum diagram on the sticker pasted on the fan cover.
These video clips were the routing I found on my engine before I took them off. So please double check with the vacuum diagram as well.
You could start with the videos, then you would identify the locations for a start!! Then perhaps double check with the diagram below.
Thanks, yes, some are different. Also due to the model years. Mine is a '85.
Still not clear to me, there are two different hose sizes at the small vacuum ball.
Which one of thme goes to the anti-diesel-solenoid, which one goes to the manifold vacuum source?
