SCAT crank going out of production?
I see on facebook that Bernard Mondello is saying that SCAT is discontinuing their bullet crankshaft. Can anyone confirm this is true? It seems this crank seems to fall in and out of production every year or so. I ask as I will need one for my build but not planning to pull the trigger until later in the year when I have all the cash in hand to buy the full assembly and heads for my build.

Not sure about what's really going on but he was saying $1499 for a crankshaft now until they're gone. I already have a Bryant but at that price I'm tempted to buy one and stick it on the shelf for something down the road.

Yes the stock Stroke one is being discontinued due to lack of sales
It was a bit of an oddity, stock stroke 455 but with big block Chevy Rod journals. It was configured to use a 6.800 big block Chevy rod, along with a custom piston.
Good thought but obviously something few wanted to fool with.
I still have my Stroker small block crank available though!😉

Yes, both the 4.250" and 4.500" crankshafts will be NO longer available when there gone!
Sad, but true!
Based on what we've sold in the past couple of years, I'd say the 4.500" could be available for 6-12 months? But with the price reduction who knows...
Thank you in advance,
