it has been very quiet here as well in my shop the Omega was in the barn for over a year now - jumped in and the Sniper fired the Pontiac ohc6 on at the 2nd turn.

final touches are done in the engine compartment 😍🤩

This has been a fantastic build. Now that it is finished, do you have another project?

Interior update on my 1973 Oldsmobile Omega

After following this project for quite a few years now, I thought I’d share some fresh interior photos 😊

The biggest challenge inside the car were definitely the original door panels.
They were cracked beyond repair, so I rebuilt and reinforced them with fiberglass, then finished them with new vinyl, handmade houndstooth inserts and custom armrests to match the seats.

I also installed a full set of New Vintage USA gauges which fit the 70s GM look surprisingly well.

Still some small things left on the to-do list, but the car is finally starting to look the way I always imagined it.

I never noticed the clutch pedal, very cool! 3 on the tree! The car, engine compartment and interior look fantastic! Great work on all fronts!

That is really sharp looking. But why are the rockets upside down on the mats?

I'm quoting a facebook comment on this

How did that happen? lol I guess the children in the China factory didn't know which way to emboss the mats
