German rookie / Olds Aeroback 260
Hello!
My name is Lou and I am recently proud owner of my ´78 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon Brougham 260 V8 in two-tone grey and red interior.
The car is preowned by a 91 year old Belgian, who bought it new in Belgium. The car has a fresh historic number plate.
I come from Corvette C4 and Plymouth Valiant and have no idea about my new car! So I hope to find answers here from the experts and
I look forward to interesting discussions.
Greetings from good old Germany!

Right on! I dig your user name Lourider! Nice Olds looks very original and I'll bet it is a one of a kind where your from, in fact I don't think I've seen one here in California in..... well maybe never but I keep my eyes peeled.

Welcome to the website. The Cutlass looks in very good condition. Wonder if the wheels were only installed on export cars or if someone over the years installed the Buick rally wheels.

Welcome to CO. The 78 Aeroback styling is very controversial amongst many of the members here. Personally, I'm not a fan of the back end although from inside it has the same dash and seating as other conventional sedans. It's a pre-cursor to the cookie cutter styling of the 1980's. Looks like the mirrors are not original, unless a different style was offered to Europe.
Do you have more details on the car?
