My '69 442 W30 Body Off!

Yes, the stripe is under the clear. He put 4 coats of clear on it too so plenty of wet sand and buff to do. Thanks for the compliments it really is pretty. Now if this guy comes and gets my '67 Toronado I will have the dough to get the '84 H/O going too. Picked up a rust free floor for it yesterday for $150. It's just Oldsmobile crazy right now and I'm loving it!

Progress Has Slowed....
Progress has slowed due to the wonderful weather here in Cincinnati, the Toronado sold and went bye bye to Indianapolis, and I already spent the money that was supposed to restore my '84 Hurst.......on a 442! I bought a 1987 442 black with gray inside naturally. 101,000 on the clock and one owner before me. The interior is flawless other than the falling headliner. It had original wheels and outlined GTII tires on it but they were stolen before I bought it. I have already picked up a beautiful set of wheels to put back on it in place of the ugly cragars currently installed post theft... It needs paint but has zero rust! I will get pics as soon as the weather changes.....

Hello,
I just wanted everyone to know that I am still here and still working on the W30. We are currently doing almost the entire body over again due to improper installation of quarter panels and poor repairs elsewhere. This has been a very expensive mistake (wrong choice in shops) and I almost sold the car. I owe Tim Murphy a lot of thanks for making me press on and finish this car for a second time. It will get done and it will be beautiful, but I will owe many people $$. The horrors that we all hope to never experience on our own at a shop I now know, and won't forget.

Got Screwed!
It is quite sickening to be honest. I have not a leg to stand on. Due to where I work I cannot confront as he sends a lot of customers to us. I have yet to figure out how to approach and discuss but it has been eating at me for quite a while and something has to give. I am out a lot of dough and will see no restitution whatsoever.

The good thing is I bought another project that is even more rare and am very deep into it. I believe that is the only reason that I have not pursued any action. I found a '69 Buick GS400 convertible 4 speed car in Tennessee and yes I have the build sheet.....
