Torsten,

Must have been a slow day. I thought you'd have the rolling chassis all set up in one day. You've got all our expectations set high because of how fast your moving!

So guys a lot of progress the last 2 days but i had no time to post

So here we go:

The axles were out; ive cleaned them and had to grind about 1mm in diameter from the axle plate where the wheels are mounted to, cause the rotor wont slide over them.....

after that i put on the spacer, Backing plate, tapped the axle shafts back in, and bolted everything together....

Looking pretty good Torsten!
You have came a long way since the last time I was in the shop.
Sorry I can´t find more time to come and help.
Maybe that will change as soon as I am back at work and it gets a little warmer.
I almost got frostbite looking at the picture where the door was open and it was snowing like crazy.

Thanks sean!

Yeah its awful weather outside, its about 20 F and we had about 5inches of snow, not the real problem but very, very breezy, so i decided to do a little indoor work and make my electrician examination

The 2 front Wire Harnesses incl the headlights is totally complete, except for the Battery cables and a little TLC on the Horn Relay.

That was an easy work and makes me feel better in the future

Here are the pictures:

Have a nice Weekend!!!

I went by the shop today armed with a snow shovel.
First I cleared the snow at home, then I went and removed all the snow from the nice lady´s Driveway that is letting me park my truck in her garage.
The city came by and cleared the street and sprayed all the snow in front of our shop. I shoveled snow for about an hour and finally got in the shop.
I took a couple of pictures too.
In one of them you will see where my username comes from.

Greetz Sean

Thanks sean for clearing the shop from the snow!!!!

I moved the trash from the shop yesterday, damn, you could do this all day

So the rear harness is completed, except for the seperated fuse backup from the stop and flashing lights.....
I also replaced the backup lamp and license lamp cables ....

Tomorrow i will complete the 3 harnesses.....

In Germany the hazard lights has prior to the stop lights so i have to select the outer taillights as the "flashing lights" and the inner ones to stop lights
Also i have to fuse every light seperately

Additional the rear sidemarkers must not work, and the front just have to flash

This is so idiotic, but its Germany!?!?!

Good News i have for my Waterpump and Differential Gasket....
I received the parts today, correct waterpump in height and the correct O Type axle gasket!!!!!

For those, who cant find the right gasket for this "exclusive axle", you can see the Part number in the picture, i will attach.

Regards,
Torsten

So the updates for Today,

I bolted on the new poles on the pos and neg. battery cables. I didnt cut to length because i want to route the cables with enough room to clear the headers .....

Added the last cables to the harness and soldered the resistance to the vacuum switch cable (the switch on the intake manifold with 3 vacuum plugs?!?)

The rear light assemblies i fused seperately, one fuse for each Stop Light and one for each Flashing Light...
I decided to make the outer ones as the Flashing lights and the inner ones will work just as stop lights... I dont like that but it has to be that way..
