opened the 12 bolt rear end and well it is 41-16 -> it s a 2.56!!! open diff????
but if i turn the driveshaft, both wheels turn into the same direction
thats secondary....
the important thing is everything looks perfect no metal pieces or something...

Looks like you have a good body and frame to start with. Things should go pretty well with that in mind. Good luck.

Hi Guys,
thanks for your backup!!!

Here i am back with the latest updates:

ive put the fuel lines, brake lines, control arms and the steering linkage apart
of course ive done hundrets of pictures

after that i`ve started to clean everything with the angle grinder.....

God d*mn thats a lot of work(never thought that much)
Sandblasting would be easier (here it would be about >1200$ just for the frame) but thats not in my budget , so i have to do it this way....

Regards,
Torsten

Wow, looking good. You're working quickly!

I've seen a steering wheel like that before. Is that from a late 70's Camaro? I guess you're in line for a replacement. Are you going to stick to a primarily stock look or no?

$1200 to blast a frame. wow. I guess sand is at a premium there. haha.

Thanks Tom,

Yeah, they blasting with tiny gold pieces in it!!!

With the Steering wheel, i have a grant challenger steering wheel laying around since 2 years that looks nearly to the original olds sport wheel ....

That has to be mounted till i have the money for the very very final touches..
The steering wheel, that is mounted, i have no idea....
It just looks ugly

Good looking car I agree with the frame cleaning with a angle grinder. Messy and hard work. Looks good and moving along quickly.

Thanks guys!!!

Im glad you like my "little" project....

So today ive cleaned the Transmission Crossmember and the driveshaft...
bolted on the motor mounts and started to bent my new stainless steel fuel lines...
puuh that was crazy but it looks good...

the first bents were hard but then it goes easy....
i hold them in place with some tie wraps for the first fit....
Final alignment comes later....

Have A Great Day!!!

Regards,
Torsten

Hi guys,

Today was f*ckin cold so ive decided to complete my TLC on the grilles and headlight bezels in my little carpenter shop.....

I modelled the broken and missing little pieces out of fiber glass and finished it with filler....

sanded, filled, sanded, filled, sanded, filled, primed 2 times and finished it in a classic silver....

ive spend about 15 hours into this .....
that much time and work and you cant see it anymore...

But i really like the result!!!

Regards,
Torsten
