Rear glass and windshield channel repaired using the Beldon speed panels. These panels worked out real well, only needing a slight tweek here and there.
I cut out the factory rear suspension X-member and installed a Wild Rides X-member. This is a very nice piece offering plenty of adjustability. I did make a separate thread about this Here.
Great thread. Great work. It was already said a few times but your welding skills are so impressive. That is going to be One fun car. Have you decided on colors?

Thank you for the kind words. It will be a shade of black for sure, I'm leaning heavily towards Mitsubishi tarmac black with the 442 stripes ghosted in.
And then there's the engine firewall....uhg, onion layers..
rather than re-skinning the hips, I opted to just sheet them in flat. There is no weight savings here, I just didn't care to put them back in.
Cut out some carbon fiber door cards. I will attach these to the factory upper steel pieces...i'll probably wrap the steel parts with leather. I also have the dash pad rough fit with endcaps made.
I have the doors in place and gapped, painted the interior surfaces and final fit the dash pad. I removed the vynal from the dash pad and have the vent areas as well as the tubing pass throughs ready for foam fill.
Shooting for Sick Week in February? Or, are you crazy enough to try and finish it for Hot Rod Drag Week? 😜
Hmm, 48 days(1152 hrs) till Drag week...Lets do it! Sick week would almost be doable but, I have no idea when I'll see a set of heads, Dominator ecu or the pdm. I think best case scenario is Race week 2.0 next year for my test drive.
I would kill to have built in cup holders in my car. It is the one thing my wife always point out when we drive it. I guess I should have said a tear of joy.
I got some console work done this weekend. Shifter stand is done, console is fitted and mounted with (4) 1/4 -20 fasteners, this thing is solid with no movement. Also got a drop in pan made for the under armrest storage.
Not a lot this weekend but, a small bite out of the elephant. The console is about as far as I'm going to take it for now, I know there's going to be more holes cut into it. I botched the the backside of the upper armrest piece a bit....oh well, a bit of fiberglass will fix it.

The glove box door is now reinstalled. Just like most everything else, it did not go back in the car the same way it came out. I cut the hinge down and re positioned it to work around the dash bar. There won't be an actual glove box but, this will serve as under dash access for the ECU and PDM.
Great project. Great work. I may have missed it. Have you decided on colors?
The exterior, body and bumpers, will be black. I may go as far as having all the trim pieces powdercoated in black chrome but, I'm not sure on that yet.
Nothing too exciting...the raised floor and kick panels are done. I'll tie in the console to the dash and build some side extensions to the firewall next and then fill and wrap the dash and upper door cards.
I put the car on scales and am coming in at 1730lbs as the car currently sits.
Console to firewall extensions done. Aside from a few minor items, this is about it for the interior. I think I am just going to paint the console black, I thought about wrapping it with a carbon print vinal but, I don't think it will turn out well. For the dash and upper door cards, due to my lack of seamstress skills, I'm thinking about "Flocking" them....Probably do these in the spring when temperatures more favorable. I have all the parts enroute to build the steering column and get that mounted. So...that leaves me about ready to mock up the engine and Procharger as well as getting a plan together for the rest of the engine bay. First, I think I'll get the front coilover brackets it the car.
