Robert.. Yes they are, I was worried about how loud they would be, they are loud at idle but seem to mellow out when driving!

Thank you sir! Its been a long time in the making, There were some mistakes along the way that cost some time, hopefully we can start on re-chroming and paint soon!
The past year the project got pushed to the side as I had an opportunity to start on a resto/rat rod so I have been bouncing between that project and the 442.
Its not an Olds, but I sure have enjoyed the build, below are a few pics, I hope no one throws stones at me for the Chevy pics!

Its definitely not for everyone, I have always wanted a really nice build that I didn't have to worry about road rash, or a shopping cart, or people touching or leaning on it...
The inside of the bed is show quality, the interior when finished should be amazing, under the hood is not to shabby, and I don't have to worry about dings or scratches, to me its the best of both worlds!
While at a local show a few weeks ago I was chatting with a close friend and a gentleman we had just met with a beautiful 65 truck, full out show truck with some amazing work, we were exchanging some pictures when the man exclaimed "It took the body shop 9 months to paint this truck" and my buddy exclaimed "it took mother nature 45 years to paint his"
We all got a huge laugh out of it!

A complete 12 bolt rear conversion with grade 8 bolts and nylok nuts, drilled, slotted and powder coated red would cost 375.00 plus shipping to anyone interested!

I sure enjoyed following this thread. You sure did a sweet job.

Question for ya? On the brakes from above this is a complete front and rear set correct? Will this fit 14" wheels?

Thanks and keep up update on the chevy your doing.

I am not sure if they offer a complete kit, quite possibly they do, I bought mine separate at separate times. I do like their kits, but what I like to do is use a good Willwood MC in conjunction with their brakes.

Feel free to call them directly , they actually supply a lot of large name high performance parts suppliers with their in house kits.

Its MBM brakes in Asheville NC
