help with taking out seat belts......what size star bit please

help with taking out seat belts......what size star bit please

i have tried several size star bits and none are working...what size do i need???

Have you tried a T-50? I took mine out a few months back and I am pretty certain that they require a T-50 Torx bit.

I think you are right, and a 1/2 inch drive wouldn't hurt, those things can be bears.

I know it's a T-50 in my Alero.

I think you can only get them in 1/2 drive

If you have a breaker bar that would work even better than a 1/2" drive rachet.

correct, I should have specified to use a 1/2 inch handle, the shorter/smaller 3/8 inch will not give enough leverage. And as Jesse mentioned, a breaker bar is better than a ratcheting wrench.

1/2" LONG arm ratchet works for me- breaker bar and ratchet in one. If you don't have 1 of these, GET ONE:

Use heat and lube if possible- lube from underneath?

Buy the BEST T50 you can get. Snap-On if possible and you can wait for delivery (each day until three).

Yes, but a search for the part number turned up another Buy It Now for $4.99 + 1.99 shipping. It's mine now.
