Can I remove this?

72 cutlass supreme, assuming this is left over from gutted a/c, ok to remove and just connect the hose? Replacing radiator as found a pinhole leak.

That looks like an aftermarket transmission cooler. You could just hook the lines up to your new radiator if you buy a radiator with a cooler in it.

Or you can keep using it if it does not leak. One line should go to or from the radiator, the other to the trans.
