What throttle bracket are you guys using for the Holley sniper? I'm only getting 65% foot to the floor? Looking for wot and I have a 2004r and I've adjusted it out as far as I can. It's starting to look ugly all crooked looking lol

Heard about this. Not sure if the new adapter fixes it but tomorrow I will send you info on the linkage I found for this. Got to sleep now.

Can you shorten your throttle cable any? Down near the foot peddle.

Oh, this sounds familiar, I had a hell of a time getting the throttle acceptable with my Snper install. Holley could have made things SO much simpler if they had used standard Holley carburetor linkage

My first fix was to make the throttle linkage on the throttle body a little longer. This will increase the leverage and help with the touchy throttle. I cut the linkage off a junk Q-Jet and bolted it to the throttle body a little higher and farther forward of the original throttle cable pivot. This got my TPS to around 85-87%. I then removed the throttle pedal from the car and bent the pedal part up (so the throttle pedal is in a slightly elevated position at idle) once that was done, I could get 100% TPS, but the throttle sometimes would stick at 3-4 %. I fixed that by adding a little extra wrap to the return springs on the throttle body. I could have used a extra return spring on the throttle linkage, but I didn’t want any extra crap on the throttle or intake.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll look into the linkage and also see if I could bend the pedal up some. Even running a little over half throttle it still feels better to me than the carb. Nothing against carbs I'm just not much on tuning them.

Im familiar with OBD on cars of 15-20 years ago, back when I was turning wrenches in a Buick dealership. I have had to “unlearn” some things, obviously EFI is much different today. I keep telling myself if I can dial in a Q-Jet and make it perform better than most people can believe this EFI stuff should me easy. I have some LS buddies who are helping me, they are much more comfy with this crap. It’s been a learning curve
