I had my sister do the blue door jamb sticker with an old typewriter and surprisingly it is a "perfect" match; probably just luck. There is a vendor on eBay that sells the sticker printed with your specific info. and claims to be a dead-on match for original font. I got mine from InLine Tube and typed it myself. The amount of info. changed from year to year, so make sure you do it right. I put my new one next to the original and to me it looks great.
Jasen Ramsey aka "TK 65" is the "go to" guy for window stickers. I typed mine (my wife did on the computer) and mine DOES NOT look like an original, which is fine with me. I make sure that when someone does look at it, the FIRST thing I tell them is that it is NOT the original window sticker. Jasen's are spot-on and are very well done. Do yourself a favor and either tell Jasen to include it somewhere small or you be up-front and tell lookers it is a reproduction. The reason I recommend doing so is lately people are makoing a window sticker and other bogus documents and "aging" them and then claiming that they are originals and real. Remember the 1970 W-30 Conv. from this year's Barrett-Jackson auctions. In the matter of honor, honesty, decency, and concern for our hobby PLEASE display them as reproductions.

dave, thanks for the info! I have purchased 3 different vin decals and the inline tube looks the closest to original. I will hit up tk 65 for the window sticker. I do love the w-30s but thank god I do not have to deal with the paperwork, pedigree, and general b.s that goes into verifying one. i think i will just have tk 65 print "repo sticker" on it somewhere easy to see just to avoid mistakes by anyone.
thanks charlie
