Correct Sticker/Decal Placement

Ok...... Now I need to know where these stickers go, and I would like to see pics please, if anyone with a 72 already has them in place. It will take me forever to find them in the assembly manual, if they're even in there, cause that thing makes me crazy!

Are there any others I should have?? Thanks guys!

the GM sticker goes on the driver door near the latch the red and white striped decal is for the radiator cap - there are a ton of decals available now go to www.drdecal.com he's an olds guy who reproduces all of them and can tell you where they go

Thank you Steven! What a cool site! Very helpful. I like this one... says it goes on the valve covers, all body styles. Do any of you guys out there have this sticker on your valve covers?

Mr. Bluevista....... I'm gonna smack you. Really hard!!

I have never seen it on any of the Olds I have owned but most of mine were 70 - 72, I thought I saw it on older cars.

The rocket power decal was used on irrigation engines only. The decal was also used on some experimental and show engines only no production engines got them.

How about the dash decal that warns riders not to roll the windows down during speeds in excess of 120 mph? I think I seen them at Year One.

You don't have the one that goes on top of the A/C housing.
I just looked at some pics and I need one for mine too.

What is the A/C housing?? Show me a picture, you know I don't know these things, LOL! Was Harrison who made the housing or what?

Jamesbo.... you didn't tell me I needed this one. Do you have it on your cars or is it a 70's car thing???

Black oxide that is.

Some prices are really high at that Dr. place but they do have the prop rod sticker for the wagon storage compartment.
They don't have the GM mark of excellence sticker though?? Probably GM Resto Part licensing needed, don't ever try to repo a part that says Oldsmobile or any other of the GM copyrighted trademarks or the GM lawyers will swoop down on you like government owned flying monkeys.

I saw that prop rod sticker also Blue. Do you have the prop rod? I hear they're kinda scarce. I found one after I bought the Vista.

I got the GM mark of excellence sticker at Fusicks. I have to spend some time looking at the Dr. site. I kinda quickly scanned over it the other night. I know me though, and I'll end up with a bunch I like, but don't need! I'll make a show board with a bunch of Olds stickers, LOL!!
