I am getting ready to left body off 57 olds 98 hardtop. Could anyone tell me where to brace the doors etc. or where I could find this information. Thanks David

Is it a 4 door or 2 door? I don't think you will find that info in any of the Oldsmobile publications. I would look for a restoration book from Hemmings or Old Cars Weekly if nobody on here is able to provide the info. It is not as crucial on a hardtop as it is on a convertible.

It's not necessary to brace a hardtop body when putting it on a rotisserie unless the rockers or floor are badly rusted.
If you do want to brace it anyway , the best places to attach the braces are at the door hinge mounting points and the door lock striker .

Looks like you have a nice solid car to start with. Shouldn't need any bracing .

Thanks. Hopefully going on the Rotisserie in the next month. We often smoke cigars, drink diet Pepsi and Warach Velocity too much but have a good time
