Cutlass, cutlass S, 442and Hurst Olds had the fastback triangle glass.
supreme and salon got opera windows with the small rectangular window.
and for a little confusion, the y76 cars got the fastback but had Chevy opera windows..
Looks like after over 20 years the registry is gone. The guy who kept it up ,Zola, was from Hungary. He had a very bad *** 75 restomod Cutlass. When I posted the link back in January it still worked. It had over 500 cars listed many with pictures.
I just bought a 1976 Olds Cutlass 442 last Wednesday. My first car was a 1976 Olds Cutlass that I bought when I was 15 years old in which I saved $600 to buy. My goal is to have it back on the road by March 2027.

My first car was also a 76 Cutlass. It was an S model my Dad purchased new which I got in the 90s. I was looking for a 1976 S or 442 when I came across a 1973 442 for sale that I could not resist. It isn't the same year as what I wanted but still a nice car. Good luck with your new 442!
Anyone here use American Racing Headers on their 73-77 ?
I have a 73 Cutlass Supreme with a 67 425 in it. The headers I have are starting to give up the ghost and I wanted to refresh them and was looking at ARH as an option.
Here's some pics of my girlfriend, Cheryl's 76 Salon. I went through it for her back in '09. She's owned it since the early 80s. It was a true "little old ladies car" with 20k on it, that was traded in at the old A. D. Pelunis Olds in Cleveland where Cheryl worked in parts at the time. When she saw it come in she snapped it up right away, before it even hit the used car lot! It still only has about 46k on it. It's loaded was almost every option except cruise & a big block. It still looked good & the interior is mint but it needed so serious attention mechanically. It had never been apart & it was leaking fluids everywhere, the rad was rotten, brakes needed work, etc. I blew it apart, cleaned & detailed everything. I added some nice upgrades while at it. On the engine,it's stock but it now has an Edelbrock intake, earlier exhaust manifolds with '73-'74 true duals plus a nice set of '73 "Oldsmobile" stamped valve covers. While I had the trans out for a reseal it got a shift kit plus I added a dual-gate shifter. I got rid of the lazy 2.41 gears replacing them with 3.08s & an anti-spin carrier. The interior got rally-pac gauges, complete with the correct seat belt warning lamp on the top of the dash, & of course the 4 spoke wheel. The car runs great!
I had that exact same Salon new in 76. Put 153K on it before selling in 82. Been missing it ever since.
Recently bought a 77 Salon beige in color. Good shape but not the same as your beautiful white/burgundy. Thanks for pictures.
