And engine temps are dead-set 160F.

Need to investigate my car at some point. Today is yard-work day. Alot of it.

Evening all

Inline, can't believe it's still snowing on you.

Lovely sunny day today so I spent most of he day enjoying my garden, we did pop out to the local church where they were having a charity plant sale and for the second year running we won first prize in the raffle.

Long weekend here as we have a bank holiday on Monday so my weekend starts tomorrow!

Now it wont snow anymore! Now it rains water....... "Yippii"...

1969w3155 - Those pics seems to look unreal. If you could say about someones buried house, "very nice".

Rain finally quit. But flooding is going to be a problem in eastern Oklahoma. The Illinois Rive at Tahlequah usually runs about 4-5 feet deep, good for trout fishing, but reports say it should crest about 31 feet by Monday. Most of the dams are releasing water so most areas are going up, water wise. real cold wind blowing strong from the north, so I'm staying inside today. Duals on the 67 Delmont should be done early part of this week. to many cracks in the base and air horn on the carb, so had to replace it.
Have a good week, enjoy y'all. mike

Morning, all... Made it back in one piece yesterday, thank the Good Lord. All's well in da' swamp, 'cept for a bunch of rain this morning.

Jamesbo, we're going back to Biltmore some time in late June or early July. Didn't make reservations yet, but we'd like to do yet another of the seemingly endless tours there. I know nothing will be as beautiful as the gorgeous azaleas & tulips in April, however. As of right now, Mike's a possibility. But we both want to see Floyd Garrett's Musclecar Museum in Sevierville (TN) in the not-too-distant future. I keep hearing rumors of its slowly being dismantled. That would make a great guys' day out.

Quite a scene, Dan~! BTW, I'd say it's 90% I'm not going to MI (Torch Lake or Lansing) in June. Too much humbug for now. I think Gene's caretaker might drive him and his '59 to the reunion, however.

Y'all have a dry one, Olds friends.

Resort to violence.

We have two cats, and weve adviced our neighbours to drive them away with any way they like as long as they dont die. I can see why people dont like them at every place. It seems to work. Their stubborn, but they soon learn where its not so safe to enter. And thats fine for us. Tho i must say i would still take cats any day over dogs.

Got up a mowed the grass, then went to a British car show in Roswell, A few cool E-types [one old one with shrouded head lamps, toggle switches and 3 carbs, A few very nice Healeys and bunch of MG's Triumphs etc and a few Loti [is that the plural]

John, I'm gonna let you have that are of Tenn all to yourself and the few thousand others that put lawn chairs in the back of their pickups to watch the cars go by

Good Morning.

First beautiful day of this whole long weekend! Theres a Cruise n' picknick for all old machines 40 miles down from here, going to visit it with my fiancee. Start of a summer, kinda. Then next weekend theres a big autoshow where i live. Thats what i really call my start of summer season.

Okay, some yard work ahead for this day too, but no problems due to nice weather.

Have a nice start of may everyone.

Jamesbo, I don't have any problems with groundhogs or chipmunks but I do have a problem with cat poo.

Unfortunately my dog is too old and senile to chase cats any more.

I tried to repellents from the stores and they they actually left one more present than normal, even my own cat lets all her friends in?

I'm going to invest in an ultra sonic device that's supposed to be good.

Rain on the way so no golf

London, I remember what you said about getting in and out of a Lotus Elan. From what I saw yesterday, the Elan may be the easiest Lotus to enter and exit

Inline, There's something wrong with people who like cats better than dogs

Good morning everyone.

Got up at O-Dark-thirty to catch a plane home. As luck would have it I got back to the Greater Stockbridge Area right as my friends were arriving at the Awful house, so I stopped in to solve some problems. Now I'm home and gonna go to Walmart to do my weekly shopping and then go pick up Tiger.

Rain here. Supposed to clear up this afternoon but we'll see. I'd hate for the Summit cruise in to be cancelled. Eh, we can just hang out here otherwise.

Okay I'll do some catching up and see you all later.

Nice one again today in da' swamp.... 'Twas 55 at 0-dark and spose to head towards 80 today. Sunday's Jazz Fest was pretty soggy; but lookin' like redemption is in store for this weekend (Thurs thru Sun = "Weekend #2")

Don't feel bad, Dan. I bought it hook, line, & sinker. Ha ha!

Clint, do I understand that you're taking a mental health day today?

Laundry list is growing by leaps & bounds, so it's off to the races...

Have a great Tuesday, Olds friends.

Mornin all.

John, No. My mental health was DOA. I just try to make it though each day anymore.

I too thought he pulled the trigger until I read the comments down below.

We got about a foot of snow on Saturday. It's all but gone now. No the grass is gonna go crazy. Maybe crazier than me.

Have a day all.

Jamesbo. I really don't understand when you say British cars don't run, now let me see, how about a lightweight E Type or an XK140/150 or an Aston DB 2/3/4 or a Mini Cooper or the AC Ace etc etc. Although we aren't particularly a manufacturing nation any more the brains of the automotive world comes from the UK, hence why most of the Formula 1 teams come from here, rant over.

Incidentally my first car really was a POS, it's a 78 Chrysler Avenger, I can't put any pictures up as there isn't a single example left

Hi everyone.

Back to work today. Had a long weekend at my Mom's getting her new place situated. We actually only got lots of stuff put in the house and then moved around.

London that Avenger looks a lot like a Simca. Put an Australian 265 in it and it would scream.

Jamesbo do you know Joe Folz? He's in your part of town and wrote a letter to Collectible Automobile, that's where I saw his name.

Absolutely beautiful day here. Got up around noon and mowed the grass. I'll do some trimming tomorrow. Hope the weather holds out I've got tons of stuff to do.

Found out I'm not helping my friend move this weekend. He wants to do it next weekend, which I believe is Mothers Day, not sure I can get Tiger into jail. We'll see.

Okay gonna finish getting ready for work. Have a good evening everyone.

Mike, Does he own a 69 H/o If not no I don't know hem But the name kinds a little familiar

London, I really Love British cars looks, I don't want to start another 100 years wars here but I do think Lucas [as in electric systems] was the "Prince of Darkness"

The other thing ya need to understand is on this side of the pond. Jaguar mechanics don't really work, they stand around smoking pipes and giving estimates of a couple thousand dollars for vey little work

But I'm sure they are lower than the Ferrari mechanics that want 40 hours to change belts

Down here we just throw a chain over a tree limb pull the american iron engine and go for it

I don't know if he owns an HO or not, but he was commenting on an article about 1969 cars. Said his parents bought both a Kingswood wagon and a Camaro that year.

Off to work as soon as I can corral Tiger.

Sorry Jamesbo I was in a bit of a wind up mood last night.

Quite agree about Lucus, had plenty of fun with their stuff over the years.

As for Jag mechanics, I used to have an XJS, nuff said.

Oh well, time to get my butt outta bed, have a great day.

Good Morning.

Just woke up, and i should be going back to work soon.
Boy, do they know how there how to kill your good feelings at work? I thought we did Super job yesterday, got ALOT done on given time, but still some supervisor found ways to give negative comments about total nonsense which dont affect anything at work. ARGH.

Id love to have E-type, but i know i cant afford it. Just can lust over pictures.

Okay, good wednesday to everyone, im off to work.
