Guten morgen!

I can't believe I made it through last night. I was so tired, but had a couple occasions to sit down for a moment. And I drank a lot of pop.

Glad they found that scum in Boston. He needs to become the next guinea pig for experimental medicine.

Jamesbo my Granddad used to be friends with a local mortician, and for a joke the mortician would call Granddad and leave a message. Granddad would call back and say, did you want me? And the mortician would say, no I'm not ready for you yet.

It's a beautiful day here and going to be quite mild. Should be a good day for sleeping.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Morning All!

Well its 37 degrees here and its snowing. A lot of the roofs have snow on them from overnight. I'm standing here at the window looking at the beautiful white tulips surrounded by the purple grape hyacinths and hoping like hell the stuff doesn't freeze tonight. There will be frost tonight the weatherman said. I'm going to cover my hydrangea back up before dark. Its just starting to open up. I'm just not believing this crap.

Larry is at the shop this morning and Nicole didn't come home last night, so God only knows where she is, lol.

I have to go see my other computer guru Kelly, at noon. I'm gonna drop Nicoles computer off with her. Tony gave her an old desk top computer of theirs and it needs some tweeking. I'm gonna ask her about my laptop too cause I'm just not happy with the screens. I'm about tired of computers....

Mike... I think they shoulda cut that scums hands off and one or both of his legs, just as he did to our people in Boston. But no, we'll support his crazy a$$ and make sure he gets a fair trial and all that crap. That 8 year old boy sure wasn't treated fairly now was he? I'm sure that family didn't plan on being blown to bits that day....

Oh yeah.... we got our ccw permits yesterday!

Well the snow is covering the grass now..... I guess I better get a few things done around here, so ill check in later. Have a good day all.

Sandy - did you remember to change the winter air in teepo's tires? Cold winter air can cause over inflation if you don't change to summer air. That would just ruin those new Firehawks you got. Take her in to the tire shop and explain what and why , they'll change it out for free. Only takes a few minutes for that peace of mind driving.

Allan R..... you're bein a shi* again!! I ain't fallin for any more of those 710 type thingys, lol!

Well I took my puter to computer guru Kelly and in about 10 minutes she had all my screens back to normal looking! She said Sue didn't install some kind of video driver that makes something else work, that makes something else work, yada yada.... she went to the Dell site and downloaded whatever it is and made everything look normal again. God that girl is good!!!! She builds computers. I wish I'd have called her right away instead of Sue. I dropped off Nicoles puter with her so she'll call me when it's done. I hadn't seen her for awhile, so it was nice to visit.

We've had flurries all day long, even with the sun out. It got up to 45 and that's it.

Jamesbo.... I made a pot of the hamburger tomato soup today. It is soooo good! I need some more soup recipes.... I also made a big bowl of banana pudding with nilla wafers and cool whip! Yummmmm..... Got the sweeper ran and the laundry done. That's been the extent of my day.

Evening everyone.

Got some decent sleep today. What a nice day to wake up to this afternoon. Cold tonight, into the 40s but nice tomorrow.

Sounds like the guy that came for the pontoon yesterday is going to take it. I hope he does. I'm sure my neighbor will try to give me money for helping him. I don't want money. I want his wife to make me some Italian Wedding Soup.

Where's the luck. I'm not ready to buy a car yet but I found a beautiful 67 convertible, way out in Nebraska. It's on 442.com. Got lots of pictures and it sounds nice. Eh, if it's still there in a little while I'll pursue it. Still have lots of questions to ask about it.

Okay last night of work. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Hey everyone.

It's as slow here today as I feel. I've had this headache since I got home and I have just been sleeping all day. Well, I got up at noon because my neighbor called and said she had some food for me. And then she called a few minutes ago and said she had dessert. I got some Tylenol from her so hopefully that will help.

I need to go to the grocery store tonight, or the dogs won't have breakfast in the morning.

I guess the 442 guy is done with me. I told him he wanted more than I wanted to spend, but I liked the car so I'd see what I could do. I also asked him a couple more questions but he hasn't responded. Eh, there will be others.

Okay everyone have a good evening. I'm going back to bed to see if this medicine will help enough to go to Walmart.

Evening All!

We had sun today, which was nice and 50 degrees. This week looks to be another mishmash of sun, rain, warm and cold. We didn't get any frost here overnight, but it did get down to 29 degrees.

Larry and I went to a shooting range over in Brecksville today and spent an hour shooting. I had to shoot the 22 pistol - they wouldn't rent me a gun with like only 3 mos. experience. Said it was their insurance company's rule. Whatevs..... We took turns with the 22 and Larry shot his 45. I don't like that gun. Just too heavy for me.

I did walk out of there as the proud owner of a Glock 19, though! I can't wait to shoot it!

I took Teepo out for a nice drive this evening after we got home. We enjoyed it. Got my hair washed tonight, and thats the extent of my day. Nicole just got home - haven't seen her since Thursday night.

Her and I have been watching The Walking Dead. We're in season 2 now, and I'm liking it!! We only get to watch it after Larry goes to bed or when he isn't here. But it's working out.

Well guess I'll get off of here and gather up my stuff for work. It's gonna be soooo nice without Brian this week!!

Have a good evening all.

Morning all.

Allan, Aren't you too old for them all nighters? I aint worth a crap at work, but even worse if I don't get some rest.

Speaking of old age, Had Ma's 77th birthday party yesterday. Glad the weather was nice for grilling burgers and Brats. Mom made Margaritas, so everyone pretty much got along.

Sandy, Congrats on the CCW and the 19.

Got the 'bobcat' home and took it to the shop yesterday. Has a few issues but should be ok when I get it up to par. It has a fresh motor that still needs some breakin in, then I think I can get a few more RPM's out of it. Has a few Hydraulic leaks that need some attention too. Just what I needed, another project vehicle.

Welp, spose to start raining then turn to snow this evening. This'll be the 3rd Monday in a row for that. They have called for up to another foot. I can't wait for someone to say "Well we need the moisture"

Mike Hope the bean feels better, Sorry to hear about the 67. Maybe he'll get sick of having it listed and drop the price. It's a nice looking car. Not crazy about the wheels.

Have a great day all.

Good morning everyone.

Slept okay last night for a little while, but when the dogs weren't waking me up I woke up anyway because I'm too stupid to take medicine before bed. I feel okay this morning so I'm getting a move on.

Clint he has another ad from several months ago on there and I think he has the price at 19.7 . I'm not crazy about the wheels either but the junkyard by me always is full of Cutlass wheels. Good luck with the skidsteer. I want a backhoe. I'd use the heck out of a backhoe.

Sandy without Brian there it will seem like a vacation. Glad you're getting all this gun stuff done. Take a picture of you in a Charlie's Angels pose in front of Teepo.

The neighbors are getting a new roof today, and they're already at it. Good time to leave for Awful house. Perhaps that's why I have this blasted headache, Lomelt withdrawal.

Have a great day everyone.

Wow, That does seem a little steep for a clone. And the side pic shows it wasn't completely block sanded to a perfect straight body. Either that or its the pixellation of the digital image. I do like the upholstery choice. the thought of sitting on hot black vinyl with the top down doesn't seem too appealing.

Yummy is right....

Pretty chilly in the swamp dis' mawnin... 46*, which is still close to a record low for us down here for late April. Spose to be back into the 80s by tomorrow, tho'.

Chances of the cow makin' an appearance goes up to 40% on Wednesday. Nuttin' much before then. Our ground is waterlogged; grass is getting mighty high; can't mow it, lest the mower just get stuck and make ruts and a bigger mess all over.

Sure wish I could do something about dem wild pigs dat tear up the grass all over the property. Really destructive; looks just like heavy equipment moved across the lawn when they're done rooting. Smart, elusive, noctournal creatures. Wish I had more time to deal with them; I'd definitely have some celebratory pork dish if I could pop one or two of dem boogers, kinda' like Clint's 'yotes'.

W,
All dat talk about Sheboygan (and even the name of your town of Muskegon) makes me a little misty: the better half & I drove up to N. Mich. every summer for about 15 years while her family owned a cottage up there in Antrim County. Reminds me of the cherry brat's the groceries would sell around the time of the (Traverse City) Cherry Festival every year.... Dat's sum good eatin', cher....

Congrats on your gun purchase Sandy. It is very important to be comfortable with your piece, so you made an excellent choice

Morning All!

Sunny and around 40 here now, supposed to get up to around 63 by this afternoon, gonna be a mixed weather week again around here, but not calling for any real cold or flurries, thank God. Of course it's early yet......

It's nice and quiet without Brian! Been a busy morning though, with Steve printing everything that came in his email while he was gone, looking for quotes, etc... Brian's email is busy too. The week will go fast - I like it when I'm busy!!!

I'm gonna bring my new purchase in tomorrow and show Clay. He was asking me all about it.

Mike.... I'll have to see what I can do about that Charlie's Angels pic, lol.

Jamesbo... hope ya get your golfing in today. I bought 2 mater plants yesterday, I got Better Boys instead of those huge friggin Beefsteak ones I got last year that went everywhere! God those things were big!! I'm gonna start my seeds in seed starter stuff this week. Eventually it will get warm enough to plant, lol. I have faith!

Well have a great Monday all.

Good morning everyone! Going to be sunny and in the low 50's today. Been chilly the last few days, still waiting for spring.

I have to replace a sliding glass door now, and then fix my mower since the grass is getting pretty high. My mower, like my cars is very old but refuses to die. Gotta love old Lawn Boys.

Scot - at least you're getting some warm weather. Would love a day in the 70's so I can drop the top on the Riv Convertible.

Jamesbro - hope you can get out and smack the white ball around. Will be doing that here soon too.

Sandy- I like the walking dead too. Have probably watched about 1/2 of them.

Have a good day all.

Beautiful country up there, though I haven't been to T.C. in a long time, I have been thinking of taking a drive up to Benzie/Beulah, as we used to camp up there at the State Park on the Platte River when I was a kid. They have a beautiful driving route for the fall colors along M22. Chef Mario Batali summers up in Leelanau, so that brings in the tourists.

Yep....

Bro-in-law & his ex used to live in T.C. until about 5 yrs. ago. M22 is beautiful, alright. M88 goes thru Eastport, Central Lake, and Bellaire.... and we used to ride our bikes on it. The address of "our" old Cottage was in Bellaire, on E. Torch Lake Dr.

As I said, it really brings back good memories; I visited my buddy Gene, the antique car collector, on Torch Lake in the fall of '11. The other great thing N. Mich. in summers is multiple car shows every weekend.... I used to go to the ones in ******* and Boyne City every year. We went to the Boyne City show and flea market in '11... what a wonderful venue. Plenty of shelters & big trees for us shade-lovers!

Mornin' all .... Balmy in da' swamp: 66* w/ a 20% chance of da' wet stuff, getting up around 80* dis afternoon....
Maybe Jamesbo is catching up on his whitey-smacking from yesterday, as I seem to be first.... and thanks for that tip on the pig-repellers, Jamesbo. I might try one from Amazon.... it would surely be worth $20 if it worked even a little.

Better half's Fusion went T.U. over the weekend.... runs OK for a couple minutes after starting, then won't rev, and almost dies, but never quite kills. Had to take it in to the shop yesterday for the first time in its life. We did buy the extended warranty 'cause we got it at a discount when we bought the car, as it's got 48k miles now. She had to go to Baton Rouge today, so she has the Camry and I took the F-150 in to N.O. Can't wait to hear what the blazes went wrong with it... it had never even hiccupped since new.

Y'all have a great Tuesday, hear?

Howdy all.

Beautiful morning here. The dogs are outside chasing groundsquirrels and I'm getting ready for the Awful house.

Not sure what all I have to do today, but it's sure to be thrilling. Yesterday I raked a little in the back yard and did some mowing. I know I need to fix the door in the dogs' room, that won't take long.

So have a good day everyone.

Man, I hate scanning that stuff; makes for a messy workstation....

But boy, can I relate! We recently refi'd and it was downright onerous. And we had a long history of dealing with these financier-lice.... I really regretted doing it by the time it was over; I couldn't believe how much asinine info they wanted.... and as you said, Jamesbo, it never seemed to end. It seemed much easier when we bought the house.

Morning All!

Another pretty day here, sun and 44 degrees right now, heading to the 60's again, then rain and cooler and windy again tomorrow.

I came in to 76 roasting degrees in here this morning! Clay turned the AC off yesterday afternoon - it wasn't that cold in here. This morning they musta been cold and turned on the heat! My house is at 68 degrees.... That's plenty warm this time of year for inside. I'll move the thermostat when they go to lunch.

I saw a lot of people on their riding tractors mowing lawns on my way home last night. Larry said he'll probably mow this weekend. Grass is high. It will depend on how much rain we get tomorrow to how soggy the yard is gonna be on the weekend. Once ya start mowing, you gotta keep up with it.....

I brought the Glock today to show Clay. I'll post a pic of it so you all can see.... I took one with my phone. Will get some better ones.

Kind of quiet in here this morning, which is a good thing. The guys said they had a good time at the open house in OK last Friday. Lot of people from the Houston shop there. They said it's a nice new facility with a lot of burning capabilities.

Well guess I better check Brian's stuff. Have a great day all!

Hey look at me I'm first!

My boy woke me up at 5 this morning and I couldn't get back to sleep. Yesterday I took a nap until 7pm, then slept through late night TV, and went to bed at 130. So now I'm all screwed up. Maybe I can get a few things done today and have a nice nap this afternoon before work.

The bonus here is I get an extra day for Awful house. I should get something totally different. Hm. Wonder if I have a coupon for anything. The manager always gets upset when I use a coupon. The store doesn't get reimbursed for it, they just have to eat it. As it were. I think it's funny.

Gotta go find some dog food today, maybe take in the junkyard because I didn't get there yesterday, change the oil in the Saturn. Rake a little in the back yard. That should fill the day nicely.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all.

Jamesbo, you know they are just asking for that stuff to see if you'll get fed up, right? They don't really look at any of it

Nice piece Sandy.

Mike gold star for you. Hope your head is feeling better.

Well had about 10" of snow this last go around. Nice thing is it melts pretty fast. My employee went home sick yesterday, wonder if he'll show today?

Have a great day all.

Late Morning All!

Rainy here this morning, temps at 55 but they are dropping. Supposed to set a record cold of 32 degrees for this date, tonight. I'm like really sick of this crap.....

Well Nicole should be on her way to the airport now for her trip to Connecticut to stay with her facebook friend. She's going to leave the Intrigue at the Park N Fly place for the week since she couldn't get a ride to the airport. I sure worry about her.....

Jamesbo! How beautiful!! Azalea's or Rhodo's? There is one blooming at the building across from us - all pink and pretty. I haven't walked over and looked close at it yet, but I will. Thank you for the pic!

One of our Peonie plants has buds already! They have a ways to go yet. I gotta get out and trim the roses this weekend if possible. The climbers are just going everywhere now, with a lot of new growth already. I gotta cut the dead stuff out, and give them some shape, lol. They're just all over the place. I think it's supposed to be nice over the weekend. Lookin like a chance of rain next Thursday of course, when Bellacino's first cruise in is...... Here we go.......

God it's been so nice without Brian this week - I can't believe its Hump day already. Week is going fast! Next week will drag.

Well you all have a great day!

Nice Sandy. I need to go get my permit so I can get one of those too.

Was a nice day here today in the mid 60's. Had to mow the lawn but unfortunately my mower is dead and I needed to borrow my neighbors. Took the engine apart and made a list of parts I need to fix it. Amazing, the thing ran from 1977 when my grandfather bought it new to now without needing any work.

I have a job interview on Friday so keep your fingers crossed for me. Being unemployed sucks!

Have a great night everyone.

Good luck Darrell,

Morning all. Got the kids motor torn down yesterday. #4 spark plug lost the porcelain and it tore up the cylinder pretty bad. I could throw a hone at it, but its got deep groves that wont come out with out a boring. The cheapest junkyard motor I could find has unknown mileage and a lifter noise for 9 bones. 130K mile motors are going for $1400 poor kid. Then she could still be back in the same boat with the oil usage. I sure wish people who think every 10K miles between oil changes could see this. The oil rings were glued in place on the pistons from the sludge.

Her dog(JRT) got stung yesterday by something(thats what we are thinking at least) he could hardly move his back half. he seems to be feeling a lot better today, but the back legs are still a little stove up.

Gonna be in the 60's today and 70 this weekend. That'll be a nice change. gonna help my dad move on Saturday. He has to be out by the first.

Have a great day all.

Good morning everyone.

Darrell I didn't know you were out of a job. Good luck at the interview.

Good night at work. We worked like fiends to get the plane done, then waited an hour and a half to get into the run up hole. Eh, I got a nice nap in while sitting in the pickup truck. So the pressure is off. Monday is over.

Nice day here. Gonna be in the 70s. It's still cold at night, though, in fact last night I thought my jacket was at work, and it wasn't, so I was a tad cold when we were outside. I'm tough I can take it. I didn't like it but I can take it.

Okay bedtime. Hope everyone has a good day.
