Today is May 14. This day in 1969 was the last day of production for the Corvair. There's always been a mystery around Car #6000, the last one. It was damaged on the assembly line so it wasn't fit for sale.
Were any Corvairs really "fit for sale"??? 😆🤣😂 Seriously though Mike, an interesting story, I've never heard that one. My dad had a 4-door for a short while because he thought it would do well in the snow, and it did pretty well from what I remember. I loved riding in it as a little kid! I listened to most of it, I’d rather have watched it. As I said I have no stake in either the Cavs or the Pistons I’m more inclined to watch two evenly matched teams play great basketball.
Washed and lubed the Scott’s lawn spreader. Grub killer should arrive today. Washing the EGO trimmer now. Lots of caked-on soil on each. Onto trimming out my hedges w/ my new EGO hedge trimmer, next. This hedge trimmer is awesome. No truck leaks & running very well. Gorgeous weather. Played great golf both Monday and Wednesday. Tee time tomorrow 8:40am.

Ives told this story before. Mom had a Corvair which she and my brother used until one day he sheepishly said at breakfast I think something is wrong with the car it’s blowing smoke out the defroster - a lot of smoke. Between my brother & mother they never checked oil. Cracked the engine block like a fissure.
Scott’s GRUBEX arrived. First time I used this product (4 yrs ago) it did a fantastic job. This stuff kills 18 varieties of Grub. It only kills & protects for 4 months but well worth it.
Ah, I have Black and Decker yard everything. It's all older than me. My dad worked for Black and Decker and bought all that stuff when he and Mom got their first house. I have all of it. Every piece has a cord. When I was a kid I had to mow with a B&D electric mower. I hated it. These days, well, I actually mow with an electric B&D mower(a newer one) but I'd give my eye teeth to have that old one I had when I was a kid.

All our lawn/yard/garden equipment had B&S engines. I became the default family equipment service technician/mechanic. Maintenance on that stuff drove Dad bonkers. He wanted a rototiller which ran but had no patience for maintaining it. LOL

Ordered a new Yuasa battery today for the Indian. I hate to have to do it, but I'm not going to be able to sell it if it isn't running, and both bikes need to be safety inspected and re-registered by the end of June. Wish I hadn't procrastinated and had sold them by now so I wouldn't have to go thru this hassle! I absolutely hate the idea of having to sell a vehicle, especially a motorcycle, on the open market.
Gabe has an ice hockey game tonight at 7:15 that I'm looking forward to. Who knows, maybe he'll score 6 goals tonight???

I've got a mole or two lurking about. I've read that they eat primarily grubs and earthworms and if you get rid of the grubs you'll get rid of the moles. Maybe I should get some and try it? I wonder if you're actively irrigating your lawn if it reduces the effective length of the application?

I'm not certain it's a Cloudflare time limit. A couple times over the past eight years I've written a text response then when it tried to post nothing appeared; so, I believe there is a time limit in which you must post a response after you elect to Reply to a post. I don't know what is the time limit.

Glenn - I suspect if Robb asked for your IP address they (IB) might exclude you from the Cloudflare Turnstyle login CAPTCHA. That would be nice of them.
The thing about it is this CO site is a developer sandbox & I think I've pretty much worn out that story (sorry). Considering the large number of sites owned by IB, I 'suspect' (likely correctly) they do in fact, use this CO site as a developer's sandbox in which to test s/w configurations since CO is highly unlikely to provide much (if any) revenue. With that said, it really is surprising to me this CO site runs as well as it does for a completely free forum website. It could be far, far worse. I think I have an account on maybe four IB websites.
IB very, very recently completely re-designed their official website >>> Internet Brands.
They have many verticals producing significant revenue and CO is not one of them.
Guess I'll go ahead and re-post some of my content that never appeared from my post this morning. We were supposed to get rain this morning and didn't. Beautiful day! Supposed to get some tomorrow morning between 5am and noon.
Gabe had a good game last night, not 6 goals, but a goal and 2 assists in a 6-3 loss. They're now on their 3rd time of playing teams they've played before during this season and all the opposing coaches are now implementing special defenses to try and slow him down. Keegan has both a ice hockey game and a roller hockey game tonight back to back, different facilities. I'm definitely going to his ice hockey game which is first, right now I'm on the fence about going on to the roller hockey. Gabe has a roller hockey game tomorrow that I'm going to. As much as I love watching both of them, I'm reaching my saturation point! Cavs vs Pistons tonight, I hope the Pistons can force a game 7.
Annual Subdivision Yard Sale is tomorrow morning, which I absolutely abhor! Frickin ignorant people think it's just fine to trek thru peoples' yards, block your mailbox, and I've even had ones with the nerve to even block or try to park in my driveway. That $hit ain't gonna fly!

And, the game isn't televised on any TV channel because it is being broadcast exclusively via Prime Video. Jeff Bezos can eat my cheesy boxers.
Having watched (streamed) most of the games via Peacock (NBC), the Cavs will present a very hard challenge for the Pistons. Cavs are 6-0 at home in the postseason. I'd love to watch tonight's game.

The Amazon Prime Video App has no recording functionality to the best of my knowledge as a standalone App. With my Hulu TV package there is a record function.

Ha! I did a quick surveillance of Amazon DRM - which is the issue (in your case). Since, you're using the Amazon Prime Video app, as your primary method to view Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Prime Video employs the native Amazon DRM. So, yeah, you're basically screwed. There are several methods to get around the Amazon DRM, most of which are open source but you'd need to establish a connection to your TV via a PC. F'ers got ya coming and going.

Since the HULU standalone subscription as a service (SaaS) is going away this year (e.g. no longer available) because it is being integrated/combined into the Disney+ platform, does this mean you have to sign-up for yet another standalone SaaS for Disney+? Hell, I don't know. I used to record bunches of stuff a very long time ago - back in the day of analog broadcasting. Today's digital formatting along w/ DRM makes it not worth any of my time to record anything.
