Thanks Don! It has been beautiful here today. I was so bummed the rain we had here last night and earlier this morning kept the back roads wet long enough to keep me from getting out to a Show without trashing the car trying to get there.

I thought I had the flu, She FORCED me to go to the doc in a box who took one look at me and sent m to the ER/ A week later I was diagnosed with legionnaires disease. The hospital from Hell saved my life BUT ruined my kidneys But I'm still vertical

I recall your Legionnaires well, Jim. Happy you’re vertical!

Pleasant weather here. Light mist/showers, no wind, upper 60s. I took a long nap.

Cavaliers vs Pistons fun game to watch.

Ate my two remaining corn cobs - delicious. These I boiled for three minutes - which is very good method. Next batch I purchase I'll oven roast with husks on. A little longer but a delicious method to cook corn. These were obviously grown in either Southern California or Mexico & the entire summer remains for grilled corn. Parents had between 1/2 acre to 1 acre (war) garden each year. Several times they planted Kandy corn sweet corn. I'd often peel & eat 'em right off the stalk. The ancestor to all corn/maize (Teosinte) originated in Teosinte, Mexico. All corn (today) are selective hybrids of Teosinte. What you see growing in Ag. fields is termed dent corn because it has a characteristic "dent" in the center of each kernel & tastes like $hit - glad livestock like it.

Jim - I wasn't completely sure the 1st time you said they "rosined" your kidneys.

I'm heading to grocery store. What's the name of that sauce you turned me onto for sauteing shrimp?

Good morning guys,

Well wishes to all the Mom's who are out there! I thank God for Dawn who's just as sweet and loving to all the kids/grandkids on my side of our blended family as she is to her own! She's selfless!

I was beat after getting home last night after Gabe's 1st Roller Hockey Game after going to Keegan's ice hockey and mowing earlier during the day. Gabe had told me he wasn't very good, but for a change he was being modest, he was clearly the best player on his team scoring 2 goals in a 5-3 loss.

I don't know exactly what we're doing today, Dawn didn't really want anything special. I'm going to go out and get whatever she wants for dinner.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! 😃

I used just a little too much Orange Sauce in the Hoisin Sauce. A tad bit too sweet. Edible none-the-less.

Likely the reason I cannot find it (any longer) is because they've changed the product packaging container from the original product packaging container which was a small glass jar when I purchased it a couple years ago.
NOTE: "New Look - Same Great Taste"

Looks like they may have changed the labeling a couple times, as well.

Beautiful morning! Norm , how is tractor doing?
My old F250 is needing some love- last couple times I used it it would "loose a cylinder"- missing, prolley a bad plug or injector- a old Ford Tech guy told me these 5.4's are very susceptible to miss fires.
I found a old school tire machine on Market place for $300. It has sold now and I wish I had bought it. I now have 2 sets of used tires for our Acadia and F100. Costs about $100 to have tires mounted each set. If I had bought that machine I would already be down to a net cost of $100 after changing the tires- well it's gone now...
