66 442 Flywheel Question

I know that the 66 442 originaly came with a flywheel that would accomodate an 11" clutch & PP. I'm just wondering if all Olds flywheels of that genre were 11", or were there other diameters used?

I am aware of early (64-67) ones that came drilled for both 10.5" and 11" clutches, and others that were drilled for 10.5" only (per a friend with a 4 speed '65 Jetstar I). Not sure if there were 11" only versions from the factory or not.

AFAIK, all Olds wheels were drilled for 10.5" and 11" diaphragm or Borg and Beck pressure plates (not Long style) from 1965-up.

Wmachines/Kurt mentions the 10.5 inch flywheel in post 8 in this thread:

https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...size-cars.html

He doess say its the only one he'd ever seen drilled only for the smaller clutch.

I have a 1965 Delta 3 on the tree (425 ci ) & I was told by the previous owner that it has a 11 inch clutch. Also it was a Police Chief's car back in 65..... The clutch is weak, so when I change it out soon, I will post pictures. Still looking for a build sheet to verify it's it is in fact a B01.....
