I traded for these wheels for my 70 oldsmobile cutlass but the wheel studs are too short would it hurt too put longer studs on it

 

It may not be the wheel studs, you may need the proper lug nuts.

Its a 77-80 Olds 350

 

We told you that this is a 1977-1980 Olds 350 in your other thread, and it was also suggested that the VIN derivative stamp will tell you the exact year of the block.

As for studs, people put longer studs in A-body cars all the time. You REALLY should have studs that extend past the thickness of the wheel for proper engagement. NHRA requires that for cars being raced. Since the Cutlass takes the same wheel studs as a Chevelle, there are a bazillion options out there.

 

As JoeP mentioned. And here's something for you to keep in case you're looking to replace that wheezer engine.
