recommendation for wheels on Scarebird conversion

Hello, I am going to be getting the front brakes on my 63 Dynamic converted. I was curious if anyone could recommend some simple wheels that will fit the conversion. I'm new to this part and there are a million options when I look up 15 inch 5X5 wheels.... Any help for a lost sould would be greatly appreciated.

Is this the kit your considering?

If so, you should be able to use any 15" rim with a 5x5" bolt pattern. You should probably get a wheel with 0mm offset and 4" backspacing. Here are some wheels:

You'll also want to make sure the center bore diameter is large enough to clear the brake hub.

Chevy or GMC half ton pickup truck wheels from 71 thru 86 work good .
That's what I have on my '63 .

That's good to know Charlie, especially if you want OE steel rims. You could probably still find those in salvage yards pretty easily.

The 15" wheels from a 1977-1990 B-body wagon will also work and should be plentiful.

I used 94-96 Chevy Caprice 9C1 cop wheels, 15 by 7 heavy duty, bolt right up and fit great. I used 1960 Buick wheel covers as they had no emblems.

The B-body wagon wheels are dimensionally the same but without the holes.
