I want to replace the woodgrain on my '82. Before I go pulling and break any clips. How are the upper and lower stainless trim held on that border the woodgrain vinyl on the sides of the car and how do I remove them?

Thanks, any tips for removing the 43 year old vinyl would be appreciated as well.
