!970 Cutlass Supreme with a factory vinyl top.
I've searched and didn't have a lot of luck.
The halo trim is pristine and I don't want to damage it of course.
I did find the studs and nuts (4) in the rear lower corner and was able get those loose, then I stopped. There is no doubt a sequence for removal of the trim. With a flashlight I can see screws protruding under the sail panel area. I assume these are holding the clips in place to which the trim snaps onto. I'm going to try to find a picture of the clips so I can determine the best approach for removal.
Anyone care to enlighten me further?

There is a gm trim removal tool idk if it works on that trim tho

Thanks Retro. I'll figure it out, to me that's part of the challenge working on these older cars.

The Fisher Body Manual shows all the trim attachment methods.

Cheaper than ruining the trim.
