Ideas for parts for restoration of '41 Olds

I thank you all for your input on a restoration vs. modification. I have decided to go with the restoration approach. I am talking about my 1941 series 76 olds. The engine fires up and body is in decent shape. I am having a hard time finding parts though. I need some advice. Suggestions???

I am going to move this to vintage forum. You don't have to keep posting in newbie forum now that we have gotten acquainted.

Kanter and Fusicks are good sources for parts. Rock Auto might have some useful mechanical parts too.

Although this is still Olds central, you might want to visit www.aaca.org Olds forums too. Couple of guys with 40s Oldsmobiles are over there and may be able to help you.

Also- www.antiqueolds.org is the National Antique Olds Club and will be your best resource for knowledge and parts.

That is a GREAT looking old Oldsmobile, really a cool old Olds !!!! I think you picked the right route with resoration. It really doesn't look like it's missing much. Ebay is always a good place to look for parts. Hemmings Motor News is one of the best publications to look at when looking for vintage parts.
