Two options:

1. Do you have the original package tray? Even if it's in pieces, if you can make a copy of it, Aceshigh provided excellent instructions back in 2011 on how to make your own. I made one back in 2014 for my '56 and it came out great.

2. If you don't have the original package tray to copy, I traced mine and I can send you a copy (if I can find it.....) Let me know.

Thanks. My current package tray is in good shape, it's just the previous owner installed rear speakers and I want to get rid of them. What is involved in the removal and installation of the package tray?

Well, as I remember, it's very simple.

First you have to remove the speakers.

Then remove the two trim pieces in the corners of the seat back, between the side windows and/or rear doors and the rear window.

Take out the seat bottom. Just lift it up. It pops out. You have to take it out to get at the seat back bolts.

Look for 63 years of neat stuff under the seat!!

Take out the seat back by removing the bolts in the lower outside corners.

The seat back should then come out by lifting up. It hangs on the package tray frame.

The package tray should then slide right out.
