Tranny Leak

hello all, been working on my 76 Cutlass Supreme 350 tranny for a couple weeks can't seem to get the transmisson pan to seal up and also worried about the clearance between the filter and the bottom of the pan. there are 2 marks on the pan where the filter screws sit and I don't believe thats correct. I ordered a cork gasket cause the new rubber gasket i haven't been able to seal now I'm looking for a 350 Tranny pan. if anyone has a stock steel pan laying around please let me know I'm trying to stay as original as possible not trying to do many polished upgrades, thanks

It shouldn't be too hard to get the transmission pan to seal properly. When you get a new one make sure the bolt holes haven't streched from over-tightening. Plus, you can adhere the gasket to the pan with some RTV or Permatex (let it sit overnight) and then install the pan.
