Which Head Gasket

I think I saw a forum question about which head gasket to use on a 350 olds to give the best compression. I think they called it a fel-pro blue gasket. Does anyone know what the part no. of the best head gasket to use to get the best compression. Thanks Larry

The thinner the installed thickness of the gasket, the higher the CR. The FelPro blue gaskets are probably the most reliable from a sealing standpoint, but they are also the thickest installed gaskets and thus the LOWEST CR. Of course, we're talking about less than half a point of CR variation from thickest to thinnest. It's unlikely you'll feel any difference in a street-driven car. If this is an otherwise stock or near-stock engine, just used the FelPros.

You could also have a little more machined off the heads.
