Ahhh lighten up !! If everyone just hit the search option without posting new threads, this site would get very boring. Not to mention eventually die. Have a drink on me and relax 59-59-59. Thanks to MDchanic's ( ERIC's)/ brown7373's willingness to help. I'm sure the OP will find an answer to his ? Put'er'ther !!! Cheers to you both!!!

There does seem to be lots of questions lately about engine paint. Lots of folks must be detailing their engines in these winter months and getting ready for spring. Another place to try is Bill Hirsch. He is reported to be one of the best. I was very satisfied with his engine paint for my 54.

Olds Gold paint
Code 26:
Just bought 2 cans from ILT, I will let you know the results, None of the local Parts stores had anything close to the correct color. I was looking for a "Gold Leaf" shade to help accent an all Black body. There is NO such thing as a question that should be banned, the members on here have been a HUGE help in the major restoration of my 66 Cutlass. They have helped me several times w/ technical info they have answered more than once i'm sure.
Thanks, Ron

Bill Hirsh Paint
I researched this prior to painting my 1968 Cutlass S and the most accurate color in my opinion was from Bill Hirsh. Just make sure you follow the instructions. Following are some links where you can see some photos of the color:
