Yup, my BIL lives in Nanaimo. $1.47/L reg. My cousin in Surrey pays $1.78/L because he has to use premium. Soon as the NDP and Green Party can settle their differences with the Trans Mountain the sooner BC prices will come down. Otherwise you may see some really ugly prices at the pump this summer. Usually we like traveling in BC but this year it's not on our radar for 2 reasons. Our cars have AB plates which makes them targets, and the cost of driving will be too expensive for a pensioner.

Premium looks uglier but the non ethanol 91 here delivers better mileage and many other benefits.

Interesting the spread between regular and mid-grade is only 6 cents. The spread between grades around here is 20-30 cents. I filled up with regular today at Costco for $2.56. The other choice was Premium for $2.95. Other stations around town are selling regular for up to $2.79 a gallon.

It got up to $3.30 in Chicago this memorial day.... I always try to drive over the border to Indiana to fill up before long road trips.

I just filled up here in Greensboro for $2.62 at Costco, down a nickel from last week. I read a few days ago that the Saudis are ramping up oil production and trying to get the Russians to follow suit to fill the void left by Trump's resumed sanctions on Iran and the collapse of the Venezuelan economy. The Saudis want to try to keep the price of oil between $60 and $70 a barrel, which they see as a sweet spot that maximizes both profit without negatively affecting demand.

It was 3.19 here for the last few days. I went on a road trip yesterday, about 50 miles south of me, one station there was at 3.19, the other (both Shell), about 5 miles away was at 2.87. As I was at the half tank mark, I filled up at station #2.

I paid a 144.9/L for mobil 93 this past weekend. $107.00 to fill my 76 from almost empty.

Regular 87 was 127.9/L

Thanks to so-called great ally in Middle East, gasoline prices have spiraled upward since 1973, after being relatively stable for more than 50-years. Always frustrated when you see a great gas price on the marquee and quickly pull into the station for the savings - only to be disappointed when you look at the small writing under the price and it says 'with purchase of car wash'.

It's creeping up. The Sunoco across the street was already above $4.00 for 93.

This was always curious to me. A Mobil & Sunoco across the street from each other. The Sunoco is always cheaper but the Mobil is always more crowded

I was pleasantly surprised when I filled up at Costco this week for $2.45, which is a good 20 to 30 cents cheaper than anywhere else in town.

In the last nine months gasoline has risen more than $1.10/gallon to $3.86/gallon in south Denver, Colorado. Certain areas of town, like near Denver International Airport, and in the mountains, are more than $4.00/gallon. It costs between $85 and $100 to fill the 25 gallon tank on my truck.

$3.19.9 for regular. $3.41.9 for 90 octane.
Unfortunately I can't say what I would like to.

just about the same for 87 for me in mass. The speedway station that stays open all night is always 10-15 cents less than the other nearby stations.
ive got a 36 gallon tank so a fill up at that station usually saves me $3-4 vs the other stations. Yay a free tank full every 30 fill ups!

Here in Sarnia like Alberta have all the refineries, Shell, Suncor, Esso etc, we make the gas right here and right now we pay 1.31L or 1.22L if you want to go to the Indian reserve. they lie and say its supply and demand, its taxes and the carbon tax, over 70 cents of this price is taxes. Now lets talk housing and heating, hydro, cell phones, food etc, we take it up the a$$ dry everyday here. I will be retiring to Mexico in about 12 years lol.

The stuff went up 15c/gallon here over the weekend and danged if I can see what's driving it. No hurricanes, pipeline or supply issues, or any of the usual suspects that I can see.
That mess off SoCal shouldn't affect east coast pricing, but I have learned that in futures trading anything can be used as an excuse to jack up retail pricing.
What's really strange to me is that Sheetz, the supposed king of discount gas here, was the first to jump from $2.94 to $3.09. The rest followed suit a couple days later. This morning it had dropped back to $3.05.
Mystery to me.
